More than 50? @hckošice not so many, I guess...especially if Slaf is going down to Laval, the farm team of the Canadiens... in any case, since Nova Sport (they have the NHL TV rights in SVK and CZE) is shared between CZE and SVK and they're actually based in CZE, I don't think they will never be too much Slaf-centric...they still have many players to watch in so many different teams... hckošice 13,128 Posted October 11, 2022 #57 Share Posted October 11, 2022 (edited) 8 Slovaks survived the cut and will start the NHL season The son of god just did it. Slaf survived yesterday last cut and thus will this Thursday "destroy" the national record as the youngest ever slovak to play a NHL game The biggest surprise is however Pavol Regenda, a non-drafted guy, who last season played in slovak league in Michalovce, survived the last cut in Anaheim and will complete an incredible "holly-wood-style" story this Thursday as well. Also this years draft number 2 Šimon Nemec made the cut as well and is among the 7 New Jersey defenders for this season Btw fun fact from this years Draft : Only 3 players made it to the final teams ! and two of them are Slovaks ! Never been more proud ! Slafkovský and Nemec the numbers 1 & 2 and Canadian Wright number 4 in NHL final rosters Tomáš Tatar (New Jersey) Erik Černák (Tampa Bay) Martin Fehérváry (Washington) Jaroslav Halák (NY Rangers) Juraj Slafkovský (Montreal) Šimon Nemec (New Jersey) Pavol Regenda (Anaheim) Adam Ružička (Calgary) not making the cuts and will start in AHL Martin Pospíšil (Calgary) Samuel Kňažko (Columbus) Miloš Kelemen (Arizona) Marián Studenič (Dallas) Filip Mešár (Montreal) Dávid Hrenák (Los Angeles) Martin Chromiak (Los Angeles) Maxim Čajkovič (Tampa Bay) Edited October 11, 2022 by hckošice
