It really looks like we don’t want to qualify to olympics in men’s trap.

Prospei have again a small chance for qualify in the final. He need a 50 and some luck., It's very hard but... :fingers:

I'd say 15 guys still in contention to get to the final of men's trap...

:CRO Josip Glasnovic is already at 100/100, so he can afford even a miss in the last series, I think (actually, there's a mathematical chance for other 6 guys to make it to 124, but it's highly unlikely they all hit 25/25 and/or 50/50 in the remaining series for them)...

for what concerns :ITA Italy, our only hope is Prosperi...he's one of those in the second group of shooters (with 123 as their maximum target), who need 50/50 and someone else among the chasing pack to make some mistakes...basically, he needs to be very lucky...

Another mistakes for Prosperi that is officially eliminated. Very bad season for our trap since now, only 2 finals... Maybe our CT need to considerate to change some athletes (Jhonny deserve again to be in the NT in every stage?)

I really hope to see in the next stage Marongiu, Grazini and Fabbrizi.

I think 50 targets are just too much for a Trap final ! kind of boring , anyway many technical problems occurred in competition today , final started from about 40 minutes and they had hit only 10 targets till now

    • Yeah, we have such a strong crop of Juniors, that we can’t take them all. They all have exciting trajectories but to predict what Junior swimmers will is always difficult. Better to let them all swim together at Juniors than rocketing them all up to seniors and swimming a prelim and going home.
    • Hanlon is the most unlucky, in my opinion. Aside from relay cover, she's the 50m champ and they made a point of including consideration for those events being in LA for the other discretionary picks. Essentially she has the same case for selection as Max Morgan (albeit without the trajectory right now).   Blocksidge's form was way off this week (compared to her previous bests). Obviously being still young you could put that down to relative inexperience. Still, she has World and European Juniors that she could still be selected for this summer. There's an argument that performing well at those might be as beneficial as going to Singapore.   That said, I'm happy that they did take a bunch of discretionary picks. That's not always been the case.

    • it was below and over 57/73kg (4 categories, 2 for men and 2 for women), if I remember correctly    however, basically they gave a title shot to a meaningless competition, in order to try and relive the open category, but it was a fiasco
