I am kind of disappointed with this explanation. It's not that I'm implying you are lying or anything, it's just that we've had all sorts of rumors for years, and when I thought you had inside information or tangible evidence, you just added more fuel to the rumors, but nothing really concrete.

The scandal about the age of gymnasts in 2008 is some sort of US-fueled conspiracy theory. I don't doubt Chinese gymnasts were underage, but most of the talks after the Olympics come from sore losers who blindly defend the US gymnasts, even though they did not deserve to win the team title that year. I know that underage is underage, so if the Chinese gymnasts were really less than 16, the US should win, but we need evidence.

People who work at those federations know and we have spoken about some stuff. Unfortunately there does not exist any evidence anymore. If somebody wanna try to dig out something .... Might even get people to talk  the truth publically but evidence about those Gymnasts was destroyed.

Of course slips of the tongue might happen, and someone can always double check registrations for the date of birth in different past competitions (both China and North Korea lost world medals after inconsistencies were found), but I believe in you when you say evidence has been destroyed. China cannot be this dumb once again (they lost the team medal at the 2000 Olympics thanks to extreme dumbness).

Well, the citizens don't belong amongst smart ones. As the country is closed from the outside world, people get easily stupid and naive. All kinds of ppl.

The evidence can be destroyed easily. Those gymasts who competed before Olympics, mostly just Asia, results erased or changed. ID card, birth certificate the same. Nothing unusal even in these days...

Feel really said about these ways. Especially cause my wife is chinese and I know that ppl from her country keep doing that. As US and USSR, Germany were hungry before Velvet revolution and did everything for Olympic success, China has not stopped. And Russia or course. Will see what about following years. About Beijing 2022, I think it will be much better. They changed ways in some sort and instead of illegal practicing they push loads of money for athletes training for the home Olympics. Building places, hiring foreigners for crazy money..... Will see in 2,5 years. I believe they have potential but they must stop with the "old" ways ... Maybe like Russia.... I do everything for success..... Literally...

Confirmation of suspension. It was that he’d been caught earlier this year or last year. Still unfortunate because that’s :TJK only athlete of note realistically...

Funny, 17 year-old Bianca Williams :JAM recieved a "warning" after being tested positive for diuretics that can cover many illegal substances including steroids..... Got it via cold medicine? I highly doubt that.

And again, English speaking countries get away with just warnings... IAAF and WADA are turning a blind eye... if it were a Russian, every single sportsperson would be automatically banned and put under surveillance for the whole Olympic cycle.

    • - Great Britain Team Size Prediction for Winter Olympic Games 2026 Milano Cortina   Ski Sports   Alpine Skiing  (4) - The qualification system is a bit confusing, but from what I gather the team is Guaranteed 2 quotas (one for each gender), and then more are given for rankings. I can only see 1 female qualifying, but the men's team is a bit stronger, and could improve with some juniors coming through. I would say a baseline of 3, with a max of 5, 6 if things really improve.  Cross Country Skiing  (3) - The men's team came 11th in the world cup last year, and with some good results could move up to top 10 which would give 3 quotas, The women's team is non existant.  Ski Jumping  (0) - Nope Nordic Combined  (0) - Nope Freestyle Skiing  (6) - Based on last year rankings, the athletes are ranked: M Moguls (26/30), M Ski Cross (26/32), M Halfpipe (33/25), M Slopestyle (39+40/30) W Moguls (23+42/30), W Halfpipe (3/25), W Big Air (5/30), W Slopestyle (19+22/30)  Barring Injury , thats 2 quotas on the women's side, and I would predict 4 more, with a max team of 7 or 8. Snowboarding  (2) - W Halfpipe (34/25) is the only unknown quota, as both Charlotte Bankes and Mia Brookes should qualify easily. Huw Nightlingale may get a spot for the Mixed Team snowboard cross but I don't know how it works. Biathlon  (0) - Nope Ski Mountaineering  (0) - Nope     Skating Sports   Speed Skating  (2) - Cornelius Kersten and Elia Smelding should qualify, although they both haven't competed this year. Short Track Speed Skating  (2) - A team of 5 went to the world but only a couple could really qualify Figure Skating  (4) - Fear and Gibson should qualify, and the pair team is ranked 16th in the world with 19 qualifiers.      Sleigh Sports   Luge  (0) - Nope Skeleton  (6) - A full team is certainly on the cards, but with only ranking points from the next season counting a lot could change Bobsleigh  (6) - Brad Hall and Co should qualify for both 2 and 4 man. I doubt any more will qualify from the mens side. Adele Nicholl on the womens should also qualify in both events     Team Sports   Curling  (12) - Anything but a full team would be a dissapointment Ice Hockey  (0) - The men were the only chance       Total Optimistic Prediction  -  (60) Total Pessimistic Prediction  - (32)   Total Realistic Prediction  -  (47)

    • North American rugby quotas ( and qualified automatically)    M: and W: and
    • I remember Caroline Golubitsky. She competed with Vezzali for a while but not for long. Rita Konig, whom Vezzali defeated in the final of the Olympic Games in 2000, was more famous, as well as Sabine Bau and Anja Mueller. From what I remember, the Germans competed fiercely with us at some point, but they almost always lost.
    • Shemyakina won a bronze medal in 2014 Worlds and was one of our leader but leave the squad due to pregnancy (she has 2 daughters if I'm not mistaking, so she chose family instead of sport). And speaking of foil we have back in the day Sergiy Golubitskyi, who was Olympic silver medalist and won some medals in other competitions and coached his wife Caroline Golubitskyi - one of the German foil specialists. Even in women's foil we had medal in Women's foil at the European championship - it was Olha Leleiko, our current national coach. So no, we are pretty good fencing country, and depending on generations of our athletes some events are more "profitable" for us and some don't.
