overall, very disappointing champs, with only a few names (C.Campbell, Chalmers, Larkin, Wilson and, above all, Titmus) and races (basically, those where the previously named swimmers performed at their best) that's worth watching...

in particular, without Horton at the start, apart the flashy 400m free from the young Winnington (nomen omen?), it's really sad to see how bad is the men's freestyle middle and long distance swimming of the Country that made it great in the past decades...

also worth mentioning, :LTU Danas Rapsys with 54.5 and 1.57 over the men's backstroke distances and 1.47.01 over 200m free; :GER Philip Heintz with 1.57 over the men's 200m IM and :GER Sara Kohler with 4.06 and 8.25 over the women's 400m and 800m free...

I think you got many of the times wrong (you probably looked at the meet records):

200 breast: I think Person won in 2:08.xxx

400 IM: I think Fraser-Holmes won in 4.14.xx

50 free: Sjöstrom won, but i think the time was a bit slower

100 free: The final will be tonight

200 IM: Heintz won in 1:58.xx

400 free: Beck won with 4:07.xx, Köhler had 4:09.xx and the 800 free final will be tonight

Attachment is the great fabricator of illusions; reality can be obtained only by someone who is detached.
