European Championships start tomorrow in Albania and yet another traditional event, that has been dropped from the Eurosport schedule. Surprisingly this time there is another BG channel that has gotten the rights and will show almost every weight live. :bounce:  Let's see, if the men's team can reach the big expectations after last years good results.

Final entries here, with Russia, Belarus and Romania banned.

Wasn't it already dropped from Eurosport last year? Or was it the World Championships that has been dropped a few years ago?

Luckily there's often YouTube where someone uploads the full competitions :p

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

The Worlds were dropped a few years ago, but they were still showing the Euros including last year's one. But apparently not anymore..

Qatar have already started their preparation for Paris 2024. This week they had submitted offers for 3 of our weightlifters to switch to Qatar - Karlos Nasar, Bozhidar Andreev and Martin Toshev. Karlos was offered 3000 dollars monthly salary, Bozhidar 2000, and for Martin a bit less, since he is younger, plus a 50 dollar daily allowance for all 3. Thankfully all 3 of them rejected, but who knows what will happen in the future...

USD 3000? That’s 10 times of the salary of Eko Yuli Irawan received here (which is not given until he won the Asian Games)
