Also, regarding you’re top 12 @Wumo. We have similar taste (besides Nordic people’s weird affection with Hard Rock). I used to be all about alternative music (and still love it), but I’ve become a bigger fan of Indie, and modern classical music. Barring #12, great list. Many of songs might just make their way to my playlists.

Is it bad that I don’t actually hate this? The only issue I see with it is that it continuously blows out my speakers.

Nothing wrong with liking something but it pierces my ears. :p

It makes me think of Frigate Orpheon from Metroid Prime immediately which is much more refined and pleasant to me.

Nordic people's? There are plenty of hard rock (or more like metal) fans around the world (though it's most likely a bigger scene in some countries)

Probably my favorite broadcast theme music of all-time:

Maybe some good memories for @ofan @intoronto @JoshMartini007

Many great songs on your list. :) I did also consider to have Rammstein "Deutschland" and Aldous Harding "The Barrel" in my top 12.

Nick Cave's album, "Ghosteen" is one of the best album in many years.

Best album of the decade was either Racine Carrée or Evolve/Night Visions :d

Get back to sleep, young lad! ;)

Real talk, Racine Carrée is one of the greatest albums of all-time. That’s also coming from a non-French speaker, so you know it must be good.

    • Finals are set    An all-Canadian final on the women’s side, as Team Homan looks to win their third title of the season (and improve to 18-1) against a hungry Team Einarson who have had a less than ideal start to the season, they were also the last Canadian team to beat Homan over a year ago (same event coincidentally), while on the men’s side it’ll be a battle between Olympic medalists as Team Mouat goes against Team Gushue!

    • yeah I know    I mean it wasn't a different team specific for that sport. it was the same CC team participating in both sports.
    • It is run by a different federation though
    • from what I heard , Iran has registered to participate in Alpine, CC skiing, SkiMo, Skating (they didn't mention which discipline ) and ... (this one will be surprising ) ... Curling    Curling is not a sure thing yet, the NOC has to approve it. the team is very new. I mean very very new, only few months ago they gathered few people to start the sport  you can't lose 100-0 in Curling, right ?    anyway it will be first time ever Iran participating outside of FIS disciplines. ( I didn't count Ski orienteering in 2011 which was the same as CC)   nobody cares about winter sports here. therefore finishing last won't have consequences. they can afford sending very weak teams. (which is not the case for the main Asian Games)
    • World Junior Championships ( Dushanbe)   Day #4 Medallists   women's -78kg Gold:  Brenda Olaya Silver:  Mathilda Sophie Niemeyer Bronze:  Eva Ronja Buddenkotte &  Dandara Camilo   women's +78kg Gold:  Lee Hyeon Ji Silver:  Celia Cancan Bronze:  Chihiro Yamaguchi &  Safa Soliman   men's -100kg Gold:  Mukhammadsodik Sodikov Silver:  Nozomu Miki Bronze:  Azhdar Baghirov &  Fares Mekhoukh   men's +100kg Gold:  Denis Batchaev Silver:  Kanan Nasibov Bronze:  Saba Kardava &  Ibrahim Tataroglu
    • 100 days to go until the first multi-sports games of the 2025
    • 11 medals out of 15 athletes. for whatever reason  we sent an incomplete team of 16 athletes (only 1 left for tomorrow) I wish I knew why  I can guess though   the result is indeed very good in such a competitive sport but lack of talent was never our problem in taekwondo. it was always there probably much more than any other country.    but the problem is the transition to the senior team. most of previous junior world champions never even made the senior team. (the new federation is doing better in this regard though)
