Where can the results be found (quickly)? I know FIG used to have a good website for results, but the event page nowadays shows no link to results.

Edit: I know results will eventually be on the Totallympics results portal, but I'm talking about the official place so I don't have to wait for someone to have time to post them :p

It's easy. Always use http://www.longinestiming.com/#!/ for any gymnastics (and equestrian, and now also alpine skiing I guess)...

Article regarding new "multi-event team" competition (mixed of course).

The last paragraph states this was a proposal from the gymnasts

After a quick check of the entries, there's no need for qualification as only 5 countries entered competitors in every event: :CAN :CHN :POR :RUS & :USA

:MEX  Dafne Navarro Loza managed to finish 7th in the qualification... that's Mexico's best result ever.

I hope she does great at the semifinal, so she can better her resume.

    • There will be specialized double sculls...just not for an NOC if it is entering singles specialists.   Either enter 2 singles specialists, or 1 XD specialist pair.   But they can in theory compete in both events, I guess, if they qualify...our top M, I think, does both.   But there are 17M, 17W, and 30 Pairs allotted in the quota, so I don't think the intent is that every singles entry will be in doubles.   (Perhaps this gets to fall in line with Weightlifting, where due to max entry quota, an NOC can't enter in every event, even if they have the best athletes...here, unless you have a pair who qualifies in both.)

    • I read the Olympic qualification documents for weightlifting. A country can have the opportunity to send a maximum of 4 athletes in one gender, but the conditions are very strict.
    • world champion Jessica Schilder opened her season up with 19.78 in France.
    • wait! what???   so, there won't be specialized double sculls, but those boats would have to feature 2 single specialists if a Nation wants to enter 2 proper singles M+W??? tell me I misread the expalaination...
