Fun stuff from Double-A ball. Rocket City Trash Pandas (that's their name) threw a no-hitter against Chattanooga and lost 7-5.

Five walks, four hit by pitches, a wild pitch, and a two-run error that would have been the third out, put Chattanooga ahead 7-3 in the final inning.

I saw a lot of comments about that in the past couple of days! :drama:

Two of the best pitchers in the KBO squared off Sunday afternoon in Daejon, and it went a little one-sided.

Eric Fedde (NC Dinos) came in with the lowest ERA in the league and pitched seven one-hit innings, striking out eleven.

Moon Dong-ju (Hanwha Eagles), the flame-throwing 19-year old, was roughed up early in the game, allowing four runs to cross over six innings.

The Dinos took the series finale 4-1 and dropped the poor Eagles to 6-17 on the season, worst in the KBO.

More from the KBO:

With the Lotte Giantsʻ 5-3 over Kiwoom, they extend their win streak to eight and move up to first place in the KBO standings.

KTʻs nine-game losing streak has shot the Wiz down to ninth place in the table.

WBSC has established the Baseball Champions League, a 4-team tournament comprised of league champions from Colombia, Cuba, Mexico and the United States.

The first four participants are the :COL Barranquilla Caimanes, :CUB Granma Alazanes, :MEX Yucatan Leones, and :USA Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks (yay North Dakota!!).

Hopefully, this tournament can grow significantly by including teams from Europe, Asia and Australia.

nice attempt to steal the spot of the Caribbean Series (not a case that this tournament is going to feature CUB and COL -out of the current CS lineup- and a minor league US team + MEX, who are the WBSC's darling)

MLB will reach their International Games out to Korea and Dominican Republic in 2024 while keeping games in London and Mexico.

to be precise: :DOM will host a Spring Training series (Red Sox vs Rays), meanwhile :KOR will host the actual League Opener between Dodgers and Padres (2 game-series on March 20th and 21st)

naaa...club baseball in Europe is really bad, I can tell you

it's not even instructional league level

KBO instead is definitely too much, they have their own professional season taking too much time to make the teams play more games
