total disaster for the Italian girls in the Sabre tournament in Belgium...no one in the top 8 (and only Errigo in the top 16)... :facepalm: :wall:

and in the men's sabre our guys didn't want to do it different from the girls...once again, no one in the top 8... :facepalm: :wall:

Great to see Abedini in podium after a while :champion: for the first time we had 4 fencers in top 32 and the other 3 lost to eventual medalists. so it was a very good World Cup overall.

  On or after 10th December a final list of competing countries is expected to be known, then we will see if for real will take part and if will return (there are rumors that they will), while in January there will be discussion of if will be invited to competition. Earlier EBU forced and to come back to fill the space of several withdrawing countries.
