The new season is coming, so it's time to open a new thread and recap all the most important upcoming events...

The first big championship to start is of course the World Cup, which from next April will also count for the Olympic Qualification...

Meanwhile later in 2019 we're going to follow the Global Championships, first the Junior Continental and World Champs in Spring  and then the Senior Continental and World Champs (also counting for the Olympic Qualification, actually awarding the most points for that) in Summer, according to the usual FIE traditional calendar...

What's the best place to find fencing results during these World Cup competitions? FIE's website?

If you mean the results of every bout and not the general standings, I suggest to go to engarde-service.com However, if you go on FIE website and check the event you want, typically there is a link to live results (a blue square on which LR is written) that usually is a good source :)

For example, for Tallin: http://fie.org/competitions/2019/80

Mostly I want to know how Dutch athletes (if present) are doing and where they are winning and losing in the bracket :p

    • I still don't know how we lost the match against Poland Can't wait to see the semifinals These matches seems very balanced
    • POL rather won’t qualify for a World Cup.   And we surely won’t qualify in a first stage.    So j just want to see interesting matches and my dream group would be:
    • With the IWF cracking down on doping, North Korea was already the second best nation before Covid. The three-year isolation does make things suspicious.   Considering the IWF is now testing them every time they compete (given their results), they are probably clean now. The IWF is on such a short leash that a scandal like this may kill the federation so I imagine they are keeping a watchful eye on them.
    • and  are the men's handball qualifiers from North America. Guess who finished fourth?
    • I was wondering who gave  team that push? ..it was you at the end  ... Karlos is the man (hopefully) to break this domination.   but if we did a poll here: Do you think  weightlifters are clean from doping or not ? ..what would be your thoughts ...I don't want to criticise any athletes or countries but the records are very suspicious
