As far as I know, the only reason the mainstream audience even knows race walking exists is because they happen to see it pass by during the WCh and Olympics...

 

jeez, who cares about peoples who don´t watch it and has no interest, this event will die next October. Wouldn´t be better to have athe penultimate race of this great sport in a place with tradition of this sport than a night BS in health dangerous conditions ?
