Right, the first person who gives me a link to a spoiler free (!) video of the men's 100m final gets a big thank you.

Can you watch the IAAF stream on YouTube? The Day 2 is there to watch.

IAAF YouTube will have the full session in a bit. I used a vpn to find it.

I tried every VPN option I had, but couldn't open that video, sadly.

I wasn't talking about the sporting part. :d

Plus, you should know that i'm from those very few posters here, who doesn't give a damn about the doping stuff. There will never be a perfect world/system. I don't base who i like or hate on this.

The more medals Gatlin wins, the better. IAAF has always been a flawed organisation, with corrupt leaders. They punish some, while letting others go with the double standards all the time. Hope he wins one in Tokyo too.

I know that you weren’t talking about the „sporting part“ ... I don’t think I actually wrote anything sport related in this thread so far ...

I am not surprised that someone from Bulgaria gets my point. People in that part of the world are probably shaking their head when they hear western people complain about having too much too eat ... most people in the world would kill to have that „problem“. I guess Darwin was right after all and this is nature‘s way of picking out the (mentally) weak.

About the other thing: I still think there is a difference between not caring about doping and fanboying over one of the most blatant dopers in history.

Attachment is the great fabricator of illusions; reality can be obtained only by someone who is detached.

If you have Nord, try Romania. If you have my private vpn try Malta

Saw the final :d Thanks to German ARD, where they had a video with a cheering Coleman as thumbnail, but luckily by experience I'm used to avoid thumbnails and titles so I only clicked Play and enjoyed the final :cheer:

What a time.

Maybe dating Konstanze Klosterhalfen would help too.

    • Weightlifting formula is more or less similar to 2020 which was considered terrible by everybody!    this is a tough sport, you can't be in your best shape for too many events. there will be risks of serious injuries this way. with these rules you need 5 good results to qualify. if you bomb out in an event to score a zero you are out of the Olympics unless you replace it with another event. which means most of these poor guys have to participate in 7-8 events (and not just 5) to make up for possible bomb outs.    most importantly if you get injured anytime during this period (almost 2 years) you are out of the Olympics! that's how Sohrab Moradi missed the Tokyo Olympics despite breaking the WR during the qualification period. you can miss the Olympics in 2028 if you get injured late 2026 !  Karlos Nasar couldn't win the Olympic title if we had these rules in 2024   I understand 2024 qualification formula wasn't great either, it had its own flaws but this one is much worse for threatening athletes' health.
