There are still two races left on the youth series (both in Innsbruck), but the following NOCs are in a very good position to win at least one quota.

M Monobob - :ROU:POL:TUN:THA:AUT:USA:FRA:CHN:BRA:CAN:GER:KOR:GBR

W Monobob - :DEN:LAT:USA:ROU:THA:CAN:TUN:JAM:KOR

M Skeleton - :LAT:ROU:UKR:SVK:USA:KOR:NED:BRA:DEN:GER:COL:SRB

W Skeleton - :LAT:CHN:ROU:ESP:AUT:DEN:NED:JPN:GER:USA:KOR:THA

A rather eclectic list of nations at the moment. Unless a handful of new nations show up in Innsbruck, there will be quite a few nations getting more than one quota in each event.

Will this be streamed on the Olympics app? :mumble:

I would assume so, but I haven’t seen any information about that yet.

Final Speed skating quotas: https://www.isu.org/inside-isu/isu-communications/communications/32683-isu-communication-2604/file

:CAN declined its only quota

:POR with 4 quotas! Which equals the athlete total it has sent in all other editions combined.

According to this: https://www.fis-ski.com/DB/v2/quota/list/yog/AL/2024 63 nations are qualified in alpine

Cross country: :COL :KEN:TPE:PHI:MDA (not in the 63 above)

Snowboarding: :UAE possibly

So were looking at 69 nations in skiing disciplines.

Curling has :NGR

Bobsleigh has :TUN:JAM and  :LES trying to qualify athletes

70 are qualified for sure atm could be up to 73. Luge and biathlon I am not too sure about.

Other disciplines such as hockey, speed skating do not provide any new countries from the above

Update:

Alpine up to 64, with the addition of :NEP to the list.

Figure skating: :GEO, 64

Cross country: :COL :KEN:TPE:PHI:MDA (not in the 64 above)  up to 69

Snowboarding: :UAE 70

Curling: :NGR 71

Bobsleigh: :TUN and :JAM 73

Luge: :PUR (new) 74

All of the above are guaranteed at this point.

:IND and :ALG currently out of qualifying spots in alpine skiing. I wonder if the FIS will use unused quotas in other disciplines and distribute to them.

IBSF was supposed to post the final version of the IBSF Youth Olympics Ranking list today, but it doesn't appear they did :(

How did qualifying for this work? Because no way Canada only would have one single quota and Portugal would have four when based on quality of the athletes :d
