Olympian1010 7,558 Posted January 1 #132 Share Posted January 1 A significant number of reallocations were made in short track speed skating. The document is quite confusing though: https://isu.org/inside-isu/isu-communications/communications/32814-isu-communication-2608/file @intoronto intoronto 1 “Sport has the power to change the world. Maybe it's unlikely, but I hope one of them can repeat Colombia's feat in 2020 and win a medal.

For the Olympics that is near impossible for 'exotic' nations, which is why most aspiring biathletes from countries like that might very much prefer biathlon, but are forced to go for a spot in cross-country skiing. Where, oddly enough, Chile doesn't have any girl apparently (they do have a small and young team, but latest I've heard is that they are basically all too busy with school to really be able to train well). Fly_like_a_don 978 Posted January 5 #135 Share Posted January 5 What all sports will be streamed? I guess those requiring less camera and logistics would be - Curling Ice Hockey Ski Jumping Freeski and Snowboarding Skating sports. Read somewhere sliding sports were not going to be streamed leading to FIL step up the pressure on IOC.

Considering it's the Youth Olympics, so presumably the largest youth sports event in the world, I'd definitely assume reasonable coverage of most, if not all sports...? Because if not, why would any athlete really care if they can't show themselves anyway? hckošice 13,326 Posted January 5 #137 Share Posted January 5 The son of Anastasiya Kuzmina will compete at the Games. Jelisej Kuzmin in Cross-Country Skiing Interesting enough 3 of our athletes will be double-starters (in 2 different sports) So no idea how this will work with the eventual quotas redistribution: Hektor Kapustík & Jakub Karkalík will both compete in Ski Jumping & Nordic Combined, while Michal Adamov will compete in both Biathlon & Cross-Country Skiing... All names for Individual sports are known, still waiting for the Hockey team final roster to be revealed. I will post the full squad here after that Worth to mention we will debut in Skeleton, and in matter of sports participation we will miss only Curling, Bobsleigh & Speed Skating. Biathlon squad from left to bottom Garguláková, Belicaj, Šteczová, Sklenárik, Adamov, Straková heywoodu and Josh
