Ok, I know and respect Sidney Crosby a lot for being a fantastic and unique player, but seriously after seeing this the guy should really visit a shrink :crazy: He almost ended the season (maybe career) of our currently best NHLer Feherváry...and what is even more unbelievable he was not even penalised for that ! Typical let the stars get away refereeing.

Thumbs down for this Sid.

At least Martin took revenge a bit by scoring the opener of the match while being shorthanded

@hckošice

2 nights ago, a Slovak goalie (Adam Huska) made his NHL debut with the NY Rangers...

unfortuantely, he had to face the scoring machine named Colorado Avalanche and got beaten 7 times, but it was not his fault...I saw the game and he didn't play that bad, it was the Rangers defense that was really poor...

Yeah he did quite well in the first period, but totaly collapsed in the second frame conceding 5 goals, but yeah, as you said he was really facing offensive machine for his debut. I hope and believe he deserve at least one another chance to try.

but it was not a all bad night for us

since Adam Ružička became the 72nd Slovak player to ever score his first careers goal in NHL. Congrats Adam, he achieved it in his 5th careers match and 2nd this season :yes

Some news in the Polish media that Washington Capitals confiscated Ukrainian flags that fans wanted to bring to the arena? I suppose Ovechkin's status means the Capitals will pretend nothing is happening out there in the world?

    • It's an interesting question, Norway is certainly expanding their efforts into a number of new sports. So, that cannot help but to peal off a few more natural athletes. I know their training methods are kinda rocking the world in a number of summer endurance sports.  I can't really speak to they dynamics of their development program. Their men's nordic programs largely always seem to be ridiculously deep, overwhelmingly so the last decade or so.

    • But it seems to us that Norway wasn't as strong in Lillehammer 1994 as it was later? And not just in women's events. Generally, until 2000, Norway was much weaker in women's biathlon and women`s cross-country skiing. I remember in the 1990s, Italy's biggest rivals, Belmondo and di Centa, were Russia, when Norway somewhere further back and only in the classic style. Bente Martinsen- Skari, this is their first really strong girl in cross country, just about 2000, just like Liv Grete Skielbreid- Pioree in women`s biathlon at similar times.   Do you think, that is there any hope that thanks to the popularity of Haaland and football in general in Norway in recent years, winter sports such as biathlon or cross-country skiing will lose a little bit, becouse that?

    • This suggestion  @Dnl  made some months ago has also been implemented.   In each club, I have added a "Milano Cortina 2026 Qualification Tracker" record which takes the content from the Qualification by Nation tracker of that NOC.   People who see it can not edit the content, but it will be automatically updated once @Matej will update the record, and if you notice any mistake feel free to report it to Matej or in the record itself.   Club's admins can now edit the name of the section into their own language or change the spelling, I have used "Milano Cortina 2026 Qualification Tracker" for all the clubs. To do so, go inside the section, then click on "Manage Club"-"Edit this database Record" and change the name of the section:     By the way, if you are not a club's admin but you would like to edit things inside the club just let me know and I will give you the rights to do so. There can be more "admins" inside the club with the rights to edit and organize the sections, and that's not a role that require time or commitment.   Let's try to make all the clubs active during MiCo and when the LA28 qualifications will start!
