will they award the Olympic diplomas here in Beijing ? or that should wait too like the medals ?

 

I mean the clean Alysa Liu has a chance to win a diploma , her Olympic moment shouldn't be ruined or her daddy will be upset. we don't want that, do we ?

I usually can't make peace with myself to support a doped athlete. but in this case the reaction from some western media was beyond disgusting. I don't think the great Justin Gatlin, the great Lance Armstrong and the great Marion Jones received this amount of criticism.
everybody with a brain knows this has nothing to do with systematic doping in Russia (which Russia should be punished for), it was RUSADA who took the sample, not anybody else.


there is an investigation ongoing, if she finds guilty later that will be a different story, but for now I only see a fantastic innocent kid, and losers like some random skater's dad envy her because they can't beat her on the ice.

Not the worst performance of the season for Valieva. She did worse in the free skate at the Europeans, finishing less than a point ahead of Anna. ;)

      Yes, but what I mean for Serbia is that everything changed there (unfortunately for us ). 2022 was an unbelievable mess, that's not the case anymore now with just one athlete who has really gone for it and made it, so I'm 99% sure they'll accept it this time.   Who knows though. Plus there's always 1-2 bigger countries here or there who reject something, but it's not gonna be 16 places I'm afraid
