hckošice 14,822 Posted August 12, 2021 #11 Share Posted August 12, 2021 No idea at all, but as usual I expect SVK team attempt to fight for the top of the tally in Cycling and shooting as usual. But seriously no idea, we are not so good as at winter paralympics but we can fairly expect a couple of medal in the above mentioned sports, especially cycling
Griff88 1,952 Posted August 12, 2021 #12 Share Posted August 12, 2021 Around 10 medals I think, primarily from badminton (at least 3 golds)
dodge 1,024 Posted August 12, 2021 #13 Share Posted August 12, 2021 Jason Smyth is pretty well known in Ireland. He has won gold in each of the last 3 Paralympics. He even qualified for the (able bodied) European championships in 2010 making the semi finals Before Mona McSharry reached the Olympic final this year, Paralympian Ellen Keane may have been the most famous swimmer in the country. She’s involved in advertising campaigns for several brands. She won bronze in Rio (and the 2019 world championships). The team will hope to win 10-15 medals total with athletics and cycling being our strongest sports usually
Gianlu33 4,553 Posted August 12, 2021 #14 Share Posted August 12, 2021 I have idea, but I think that our medal tally in Rio was over boosted by the Russian's missing. Let's hope in something of nice
Illya 511 Posted August 12, 2021 #15 Share Posted August 12, 2021 I think 80+ medals . It's minimum I think. Maximum - 100+

Wouldn’t put a figure on total medals, but certainly third or fourth place overall is what we’d be going for. The unofficial target in the UK is 100 as the bare minimum with hopes to get above 130 again. But they are fears it could be a struggle getting to that 100.
