How to know when the Olympic shooting ranking starts and ends? It is also not clear if in Europe the place for the team event will be granted in the continental Games 2023 or in the European Championship 2022 or 2024

It seems Poland will open the qualification rankings in two sports. European Triathlon Championships in Olsztyn are to be the first event counted towards the Olympic Ranking while the Gradi Polish Open (Pro Golf Tour event) will be played in the first week counting in the Olympic Golf Ranking.

The other cycling disciplines are not on the IOC website (funny enough the date listed for mountain biking is for tomorrow so maybe they'll show up then).

 

Overall, a reduction of two athletes per event. Nations can now only qualify a maximum of 2 athletes and this time there will be a tripartite quota available.

So far it appears the MTB World Cup in Albstadt will get the wheel rolling - both U23 XCO races take place on the opening day of the qualification window (7 May).

 

As for track cycling - considering how previous qualification systems worked (2-year window that ended with the Olympic-year WCh) before the calendar was completely turned on its head, I wouldn't be surprised if qualification began last weekend in Glasgow on the down low...

Once again it seems a clean sweep caused such quota reduction.
