Thanks, I have been struggling to find the results for this.

When you say "internal leg" on the relays, is that a time from this meet or has some takeover time been taken off.

no, it's from Today's relays, internal leg just means that they were in 2nd, 3rd or 4th leg

AQUA recently changed that rule. So now an athlete no longer needs to have competed at Worlds to be eligible.

great to know that rules are meant to be broken

Not really sure how to feel about this with all that’s going on right now, but “World Champion” :CHN Tang Qianting fired off a new AR of 1:04.68 in the women’s 100m breaststroke at the Chinese Olympic Trials (in the semifinals)

I wonder if the ARD documentary was deliberately scheduled to coincide for the Trials?

So I guess :CHN Zhang Zhanshuo decided to focus on the 400 free instead of the 400 IM? That's unfortunate because I believe he would've had a better shot at making the final in the 400IM. It's also unfortunate because we lose another athlete who had the 400 IM OQT and now with just over 2 months to go in the qualification period, we have roughly 9 ENTRIES in the men's 400 IM:

It's also quite possible that Brendon Smith wouldn't qualify at Australian trials given his form this year. Japan might add one of Seto or Honda as their 2nd entry and Wigginton, Gabor Zombori, and Sates could be added through OCTs. However, it's quite likely that we'll have even fewer entries than the women's 200m butterfly from Tokyo where their were only 17 entries.

This event had the misfortune of having an insanely fast heats in Tokyo that nuked the qualifying time from 4:15.84 to 4:12.50. If AQUA followed their old rules where they set the OQT as the 16th fastest swimmer in the heats instead of the 14th fastest swimmer, the new qualifying time would've been 4:15.76 instead.

    • the quata for europe or australia is from the primer 12, where the top 20 teams will participate, sadly  is the 21th team so the only slight chance for us in my opinion is if: we get top 2 at the european championship (not including  hopefully if they get the quata), then somehow win the final qualification tournament against i assume  and one of    the chances for us are slim, i think about 4 other team sports  have a better chance in in my opinion(and the most team sports we ever had was one, and it was the last two time after a long time )

    • well, Cuba and Venezuela for sure...   Iran is a different question, but I hope in 2 years all this war shit is done and dusted and at least in the sports world everything is gonna be OK
    • In my opinion the Italian team has been playing above expectations since last year after several years of decline. Last year, we advanced to the first division at the European Championships and now they're playing very close matches against the strong India and Scotland. We a little miss a potential to do more – we are only 18th in the world rankings. Our men's team's performance in this sport is much weaker.
    • I wonder if all Cuba, Iran and Venezuela will be able to travel and compete in LA at all... Hopefully that yes.
    • There was some initial disappointment at first, but got over it quite quickly.    Happy for  and I hope they can win a medal in LA with their MLB players there!
