1st day quotas:

 

Men’s springboard:  Shixin Li

 

Women’s Springboard:  Nikita Hains

 

Well, surprise, surprise the Aussies get both quotas.

Hains and Li performed better than the rest of the small field, there’s no doubt, although in women’s competition the other athletes had rather forgettable performances, and in men’s, Liam Stone from New Zealand is not in best physical shape, carrying a slight injury.

 

Let’s see if tomorrow  can snatch the quota in women’s springboard.

No Russian divers have entered the World Championships so they will also miss the Paris Olympics.
