:GBR will qualify a few women at 800m but it’s worth noting that Phoebe Gill ran 1:57.86 in the Irish Milers meeting in Belfast

She just turned 17 a few weeks ago!

And the 2nd fastest time in the world this year suitably run at the Mary Peters stadium.

:URU is probably qualifying in Men's Long Jump, for example.

But for other natios I get it, marathon needs a lot of training and quotas can't be announced too late.

And about :KGZ and :PRK , they already broke that rule last year. They do it if they want. For example they gave a quota to :SSD in both men's 1500 and womens 200 last olympic games. So it's not uncommon. Also, :PRK guy likely qualifies by world ranking as he's #81. He only needs one person rejecting their place

It's so sad what happened to :CHIHugo Catrileo

First of all he was in the top64 on the first deadline, so his quota should have been confirmed by then. But they totally ignored that. And now he was kicked out of the ranking due to the Universality quotas. I wonder if he can still climb back through reallocation.
