Olympian1010 7,516 Posted June 23, 2021 #1361 Share Posted June 23, 2021 Universality update - Men’s 100m - ( as well most likely) Men’s 200m - Men’s 400m - Men’s 800m - Men’s 1500m - Men’s 5000m - Men’s 10000m - None Men’s 110m H - Men’s 400m H - Men’s 3000m Steeplechase - None Men’s High Jump - None Men’s Pole Vault - None Men’s Long Jump - Men’s Triple Jump - None Men’s Shot Put - None Men’s Discus Throw - None Men’s Hammer Throw - Men’s Javelin Throw - None Men’s Marathon - Men’s 20km Race Walk - None Men’s 50km Race Walk - None Men’s Decathlon - None Some nations are still missing, so I’d say universality allocation is an ongoing process still. Makedonas 1,617 Posted June 23, 2021 #1362 Share Posted June 23, 2021 Wait, so these count towards the quotas (ex-32 in field events) or no? Also performances on June 29 are included in the rankings, correct? Or the rankings are released on June 29 based on results until June 28? Damn, a lot of Greek athletes are impacted now. Spanoudaki seemed safe in the women's 100 and 200 and now is borderline. Same with Frantzeskakis and Anastasakis in the men's hammer. Anagnostopoulou in the women's discus and Pesiridou in the women's 100 hurdles now really 50/50. And a huge uphill battle for Vasiliou in the women's 400, a shame because her times in the indoor season were amazing so I expected much more from her outdoors. Douvalidis should still be safe in the men's 110 hurdles which is a relief especially since he's been injured most of the season and missed the national championships which would've been easy points for him. And our girls in the 20km walk should also be safe. Same with Filippidis and Karalis in men's pole vault and Scarvelis in the women's hammer. Makedonas 1,617 Posted June 23, 2021 #1365 Share Posted June 23, 2021 Looks like they don't count in women's 100m either actually, good news for Spanoudaki who is currently 50th.

Three now outside rankings and three more right on the edge. Very unfair to athletes to drop this on them with a week to go. Makedonas
