California Popular Vote (currently) -

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

I guess that's the reason why Hilary Clinton lost in 2016 and why conservatives won't support directly national one person one vote. In that case their fate will be almost determined by liberal Californians.

Well. The landscape would be pretty different if going by the popular vote. The Republicans would start campaigning in California, New York and Illinois which is pretty much useless right now (except for house candidates) and knowing that every vote counts could mean quite a lot to the voting in such states.

while I'm very happy that I don't have to see this guy anymore (or least much less)

but it's still really disappointing to see he gets more than 70 million votes (in a democratic and free election). he represents every bad thing you can imagine in a man. sexism, racism. lying consistently, ... I know most (if not all) politicians are not "clean" but he was 10 times worse than anybody else.

Also, a vote that may have flown under the radar, Puerto Rico appears to have voted in favor of becoming a state once more.
