Easy qual for Charlotte Bankes , slow start but generating a lot of straight speed! Jacobellis, the biggest fail in Olympic fails, out first round! Yes! Charlotte wins the semi..... GOLD! Almost fell at the last, lost tons of speed, just held,on. Think that must be ‘s first ever World Champs gold at an Alpine speed event. And would you believe Eguibar for Men’s Gold! Bankes totally dominated her quarterfinals and semifinals, was happy to see her hang on for the win. Seeing Eguibar win after being so close at home four years ago is really nice.
