Definitely not in the same TISC, and yes, it's going to be weird We needed USA with "Save Your Tears" ft. Ariana Grande, and then it would have been even crazier. Back when Croatia hosted, Shawn Mendes won for Canada and performed Senorita (ft. Camila Cabello) representing Cuba for the Festival of Music. Vektor 3,326 Posted April 10, 2022 Author #165 Share Posted April 10, 2022 As we are waiting for the final three entries I would like to say that I will accept the submissions from until Monday 18:00 CEST if for some valid reason they need extra time to choose a song. I wasn't planning to listen to all the songs in one sitting anyway until that time. Obviously I would much prefer if everyone would submit their song today before the official selection deadline, I am mostly making this exception for @Glen because I am not sure if he will make it in time and Malta has never missed a TISC before. I am planning to post the playlist today after the deadline around 1 am, but I won't if some entries are missing. As for if @Mehmet shows any signs of activity until I submit my votes on Wednesday (12:00 CEST) and confirms that he's indeed a former member of this forum, I won't disqualify Turkey. Which means that the Turkish song will be in the playlist, hopefully I won't have to remove it before the voting starts. These are the two absolutely final deadlines from me, I can't delay them any further as they would eat up the time that the jurors need to vote. heywoodu and konig 1
Federer91 2,817 Posted April 10, 2022 #166 Share Posted April 10, 2022 BULGARIA DARA - Thunder No surprises, that the retro 80s disco sound dominated the pop scene here as well in the last year. I wasn't keen on adding such a song, as people are probably tired of the sound by now, and had a dilemma between this and another more traditional song. But given that my last few more specific bulgarian songs didn't translate that well, i thought i'd go more mainstream this time. Time to out-Weeknd The Weeknd Lyrics in the video, as per the title Vektor
mrv86 3,138 Posted April 10, 2022 #167 Share Posted April 10, 2022 M E X I C O Mexico's proud to be part of Totallympics Annual International Song Contest one more time, and even with some delay, is ready to present their representatives: the synth pop band Cámilo Séptimo accompanied by past contestant Ximena Sariñana. Beginning as a rock group in 2013, Camilo Séptimo (whose name is a pun on 70´s Spanish singer Camilo Sexto) took a new direction when they met with some members of Costa Rican group Patterns four years later, so far the only entry from Latin America to obtaina prize at TISC's Special Edition in 2020, and decided to experiment with new rhythms and trends. They'll be joined by Sariñana, an artist with over two decades in Mexican entertainment, who this time will be looking to surpass the 21th place she obtained at the Open edition held in the Netherlands 4 years ago. At the Hungarian city of Szeged they'll be performing last year's song Contracorriente, a title that can be translated as "against the flow", with the lyrics further explaining that this is doing the opposite to what common sense would dictate. So, without further delay, the Mexican jury hopes you enjoy this tune. De mí Tu cuerpo me llama Tus ojos me sanan Tu alma me habla Me dice por dónde seguir Y seguirte a ti es lo que quiero Tu cuerpo me llama Tus ojos me sanan Tu alma me habla Me dice por dónde seguir Porque sin ti yo no puedo vivir Voy contracorriente, no sé cómo regresar Fue por conocerte, que no puedo funcionar sin ti Tu cuerpo me llama Tus ojos me sanan Tu alma me habla Me dice por dónde seguir Y seguirte a ti es lo que quiero Tu cuerpo me llama Tus ojos me sanan Tu alma me habla Me dice por dónde seguir Porque sin ti yo no puedo vivir Lyrics in English Spoiler I float in your direction Indefinitely I go Pinned to your heart I go against the flow Don't know how to come back Since I met you, I can't do it without you You body calls me Your eyes heal me Your soul speaks to me Tells me where to follow And what I want is to follow you Without you My will flickers And for me, there's no reality In which you're absent Maybe you'll never understand Perhaps words are not needed It would be better explained close to me... to me You body calls me Your eyes heal me Your soul speaks to me Tells me where to follow And what I want is to follow you You body calls me Your eyes heal me Your soul speaks to me Tells me where to follow Because I can't live without you I go against the flow, don't know how to come back Since I met you, I can't do it without you You body calls me Your eyes heal me Your soul speaks to me Tells me where to follow And what I want is to follow you You body calls me Your eyes heal me Your soul speaks to me Tells me where to follow Because I can't live without you Vektor

Glen 180 Posted April 10, 2022 #170 Share Posted April 10, 2022 MALTA EMMA MUSCAT - SANGRIA (Feat. Astol) For this year's TAISC, Malta will be submitting a song in Italian sung by Malta singer Emma Muscat. Emma, who will be also be representing Malta in the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest in Turin, became famous after she participated on the Italian Television show 'Amici' Lyrics Emma Muscat - Sangria (feat.
