Slovakia at the World Games 2025 0 - 1 - 1 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2nd Medal for Monika Chochlíková Muay Thai (W -54kg) BRONZE MEDAL Not the color we expected and were hoping for ... but yeah, still a medal. Monika Chochlíková won her 3rd medal at the World Games today in a row but this time it was not gold like in Alabama (She has also silver in Kickboxing from there). She had to move up to the -54kg this time which was clearly a handicap, that was visible mainly in the semifinal bout were she was quite unusually outclassed by her opponent, something she is definitely not used to... anyway, kudos to her, to not giving up and winning today´s bronze medal bout, which means she will return home with a bronze this time.

The merguez pizza was amazing 🥰 Yeah, I went to the bank to exchange money and the guy literally said me, why you want to do it legaly ? You crazy ? Go to black market ! He literally closed the bank and went with me to the next street to a phone store and exchanged me 100 euro for 25000 dinars 🤣 I barelly spend 250 euros the 2 weeks I was there, so much everything was cheap (if you have euro ofc, for locals yeah that must be very hard in fact i Saw Huge differences, either newly super rich people or very poor, almost no middle class. I spoke a lot with heetch or yassir drivers about the life here)

Pizza carré I liked it, but still found it quite funny (the dimension and square form) but tasted really good. All in all I enjoyed the food during my trip a lot. It was a long time I wanted to visit the country and finally made it. I enjoyed it a lot, very pleasant and helpfull people, did not have a single bad time or bad feeling during the whole stay. And Algiers is just full of cats and people love them and I mean really love them, feed them, play with them, cats are not scared of people at all. They sleep among people in the coffees, streets everywhere and people just live with the in complete harmony I really liked it. and the prize of fuel is just hilarious it is like 1.5 euro to fill up on fuel ! Oh man, I wish this was possible in Slovakia as well
