we misread nothing. It was in the rules for more than 2 and half year. They just decided now to change the rule to afford only athletes who won quotas in idividual events to compete.

Another 8 athletes flew today to Tokyo. So it is now 13/41 Bon Voyage and stay safe. Thats what ISSF answered to our federation yesterday after our appeal. Not sure if it is for all 3 mixed events, since we were obviously solving the mixed trap issue, but I guess this will apply there as well, but not take it for granted. The thing that really upset our federation and athletes, is not they changed the rule and will not allow them to compete in the individuals. It is the fact they did not announce it until past week ! Literally from 2018, when we won the quotas until July 2021, our athletes, federation, everyone was ready to start in the individuals. More than 2 years they were all 4 preparing for the events. After 2 and half years, just one week before the start of the games ISSF suddenly announce the mixed trap quotas will be only for mixed trap. boom. Not really serious and absolutely no fair from ISSF to change the rules after 2 and half years like that. Many people in Slovakia are already feeling like it was just because Slovakia is small and nobody cares, I already read comments that if it would be a major powerhouse like let say Italy winning in our situation ISSF would not release anything because of scare, now Slovakia, ok lets change it, nobody willl care...

Well, it has been just confirmed by our authorities. ISSF for some reason decided to change their own rules about mixed event double starters, and even despite protest of our federation will not allow Kovačócy and Špotáková to compete in the Individual events Our federation and athletes are furious ! They will be allowed to compete only as 2nd team in the Mixed Trap. also every country will be allowed to start only with one team in the mixed events if they have at least 1 M and 1 W, only the nations which won quotas in Mixed events at the 2018 World Champs like Slovakia in Mixed Trap can enter two teams.

We have O2SK but it does not look to have the 7 Eurosports. nevermind, I have ČT Sport, RTVS 2, Eurosport 1 & 2 in TV and obvioulsy the mandatory Eurosport player. so it should be fine. baring electricity outage , but with the current storms in the area you never know

Our national broadcaster RTVS had finally the press conference about Tokyo 2020. here are the main points: 60 members RTVS staff will fly to Tokyo (20 of them will produce the whole Shooting coverage ordered by OBS !!! huge honor for our TV, so what you will see from Shooting in Tokyo will be made by complete Slovak TV production from Directors to cameramens) Our TV will have a Studio in Tokyo (Canoe Slalom ) from which they will broadcast the entire Olympics, 2 moderators will alternate in the studio. The live coverage will start daily at 01:00 AM and finish around 17:00, with the main focus on Slovak athletes, the TV aim to show everything possible from our athletes during the competitions, then they want to cover the most Finals it will be possible, main focus on Athletics and Canoe sport, but also want to show all finals of other sports either live or delay or on shortened delayed replays. 9 Commentators will comment directly from the games, 8 other reporters will work there to present everything around our athletes, our delegation, interviews etc. After 17:00 the TV will have 2 hours Summary of the Day repeating what happened during that day. Followed until midnight with main replays. Two 10 minutes entrances from the Olympic festival studio in Šamorín are prepared every day to follow what is happening in Šamorín. Also the Radio section will have its members in the group, every night from 4:30 AM there will be a Tokyo Live in our radio following what is happening there, and during the day they will have several special inputs.
