SLOVAK ROAD TO TOKYO 2020 - SLOVENSKÁ CESTA DO TOKIA 2020 5th Qualified Athlete DANKA BARTEKOVÁ - SHOOTING (SKEET W) Danka Barteková štvrtá v skeete na MS získala miestenku na OH 2020 Slovenská reprezentantka v športovej streľbe Danka Barteková obsadila 4. miesto v skeete žien na MS v juhokórejskom Čchangwone. Stupne víťazov patrili výhradne Američankám. Titul majsterky sveta si vybojovala Caitlin Connorová, ktorá záverečným výstrelom odsunula na druhé miesto Kimberly Rhodeovú. Tretia bola Amber Englishová. Tridsaťtriročná Barteková postúpila medzi šesticu najlepších vďaka výbornému výkonu z kvalifikácie, v ktorej nechala za sebou všetky súperky. V piatich položkách po 25 terčov netrafila iba štyrikrát. Vo finále dlho bojovala s reprezentantkami USA o medailové umiestnenie, no do najlepšej trojice sa napokon tesne nedostala o jeden nepresný výstrel. "Misia týchto pretekov je však splnená. Miestenku do Tokia mám, čo je podstatné. Celú sezónu som pracovala na tom, aby sa mi to podarilo, takže v tomto smere som spokojná. Umožní mi to oddýchnuť si budúci rok a možno vynechať niektoré zámorské podujatia Svetového pohára. Dnešným dňom sa skončila moja sezóna, ale oddychovať budeme neskôr, pretože ma teraz čakajú pracovné cesty a stretnutia v rámci MOV," dodala D. Barteková. Štvrtým miestom vybojovala Barteková pre Slovensko miestenku na OH 2020 v Tokiu. Bronzová medailistka z OH 2012 tak nerozšírila slovenskú zbierku cenných kovov na tohtoročných MS. Slováci majú bilanciu 2-1-2, keď Zuzana Rehák Štefečeková získala titul majsterky sveta v trape žien, resp. spolu s Erikom Vargom ovládli aj súťaž miešaných tímov v trape.
