jeez, who cares about peoples who don´t watch it and has no interest, this event will die next October. Wouldn´t be better to have athe penultimate race of this great sport in a place with tradition of this sport than a night BS in health dangerous conditions ?

If IAAF allowed other countries to co-host the race walking events/marathons in a separate tournament everything would be fine, there were some countres wanting to do it

Apparently the teams including our is pissed, becazse and this is really shocking, there were huge issues with lack of cold water in the refreshing stations ! Also there no the traditional showers in the track, athletes having enormous problems to refresh their bodies. even if the OC promised to prepare everything

Anyway, that was a good move from Matej to retire, the Olympic standard is impossible to be achieved here, and really there no reason to sacrifice his health and body, next year will be much more important. Trying the Tokyo standard in Dudince in March and then the official 50k farewell in Tokyo
