The 2022 Mediterranean Games must have given Algeria some street credit in the international sports world because I’m seeing some Algerian news outlets reporting the country will resurrect and host the Pan Arab Games this summer. I couldn’t find anything specific on the UANOC website, but there was a Arabic press release posted to Twitter that I couldn’t translate, so maybe there’s some news about it on there @thepharoah @tuniscof @amen09?

I don’t really see any reason to kick the 20km Race Walk off the program at the moment. I feel like users on here are acting like those events don’t exist... I would agree with axing the mixed race walk relay in favor of quotas elsewhere though.

The winner of the medal design competition was announced today… My personal preference would be probably favor for the runner up. Still, always interesting to see what people come up with.

I think it has more to do with people being absolute maniacs on them. I understand the use for them, but people ride them way too fast and reckless in areas with a high density of pedestrians. They’re relatively popular in Southern California, but there’s definitely contrasting opinions on them as well.
