  1. The US (Trump puppet Mike Pompeio to be exact) has declared the illegal Israeli settlements on Palestine land to no longer be illegal/against international law. Another victory for the world's single largest peace threat, also known as Israel.
  2. We have a few sort of extremists who get way, way too much attention Pretty much the literal opposites of Geert Wilders, with being an attention whore as the only thing they have in common A vinter/jule/christmas/wathevermedister sounds good by the way What is the name it has had for a long time? Is that vintermedister or is that the new term?
  3. Oh! So nice to see we're not alone in turning Christmas (and the whole of December/November actually) into something that used to be festive and is now only grounds for discussion Here more and more people even complain about calling it Christmas and shops are falling for it and more and more are only using terms like 'the holidays' to avoid angering people who don't like Christmas and it's traditions.
  4. Somehow I thought it was still in weekends. Well, they must have gotten too many viewers then, having it when most people are working will take care of that problem
  5. Victoria Rodriguez is doing an excellent job in improving herself, again.
  6. What's up with Davis Cup tennis suddenly starting today, on a Monday? Did too many people visit the matches and so they're going to have it on weekdays now or what?
  7. I didn't say it was the Himalayas Run
  8. Pretty fun race, mostly the women's one. Nice to see some interesting names being strong in the men's race, especially Johannes Dale was looking really good on the skis and Stromsheim was excellent as well.
  9. Letesenbet Gidey of Ethiopia totally destroyed the 15k world record at the Zevenheuvelenloop ('Seven Hills Run') in Nijmegen today: 44.20 minutes, destroying the old record by one minute and 17 seconds. The last 10k, which is slightly more downhill, went faster than Ayana's 10k track world record.
  10. @hckosice Guess who won two stages in the almighty Tour of Senegal?! https://www.procyclingstats.com/rider/jan-andrej-cully
  11. Let us pray to every deity this is what it is I'm not even trying to get this system. Wikipedia has a Q after 'Netherlands' so that's all, I'm out
  12. [hide] ATP Finals - Knockout Round November 16th - November 17th, 2019 4 Athletes, Semifinals and Final Final Date & Time (GMT) Athlete 1 T1 T2 Athlete 2 November 17th 2019, h. 18:00 Stefanos Tsitsipas 2 0 Dominic Thiem [/hide]
  13. Dutch commentator: "Let's hope the ice won't melt!"
  14. Accused at the time of using cocaine, accused later by scientists of using EPO based on blood values.
  15. Yep. Apparently a mix of cocaine and EPO was good enough to keep your cool
  16. And Ajax should get the 1996 Champions League in which their opponent Juventus won because of EPO use
  17. Northern Ireland - Netherlands was one of the more boring matches I've ever seen. Watching a match for one and a half hour and you end up seeing zero goals, what a sport
  18. Yes and where was Austria in 2017, 2018 and this year?!?! I did not see them at the European Championships, they missed it!
  19. One of the world's more prestigious races (especially in single seaters) is getting underway in (literally) less than a minute.
  20. That must be one of the more 'weird' celebrations of it in 30 years I assume? You know, with a huge national tragedy only a few days before..
  21. That is hilarious and fantastic at the same time.
  22. Sigh. Then someone doesn't know it, reads it as 'nigger' and gets kindly corrected by someone who says 'No, look, pronounce it like this'. Big whoop. I hope they qualify, it'd be fun to see people explode out of their pantyhoses when someone accidentally says it wrong.
