  1. Still perfectly on pace for my prediction
  2. So far it's all going as expected.
  3. Personally I don't care much who wins, as long as it's a high level and preferably tight match.
  4. Based on this tournament he absolutely is the favorite. Based on pedigree in terms of performing under pressure, he definitely isn't
  5. Que no pare la fiesta Time for the final I'm going for 7-4 for Wright
  6. This is exactly what I think could in fact be valuable, yes.
  7. Lindvik tied Ammann's 2010 hill record
  8. Exactly what I meant. For example, biathlon world championships of last season, men's sprint: https://ibu.blob.core.windows.net/docs/1819/BT/SWRL/CH__/SMSP/BT_C73B_1.0.pdf I timed it and it took around 10 seconds to find this PDF, mostly because of waiting time while the page was loading I don't really see why it would be needed to copy all that stuff and paste it in here (even worse if the nation codes are replaced with flags, so one can't Ctrl + F). Just save the PDF in case IBU removes it years later and there you go (although in this case it won't be necessary because surely it'll always be on Wikipedia )
  9. The first part is a moot point for me: I'm so 100% used to going to certain websites, it's just way easier for me than navigating on a forum (if I want cycling results, I just type 'proc' in my browser, hit Enter and am on ProCyclingStats, for example). The second part can be solved by saving a PDF or results page or something, so there's a backup in case it gets removed. That's arguably way faster than copying all results, pasting them, adapting them to the 'required' format and so on.
  10. I think my opinion has always been the same: I like to help with things I feel are useful. Copy-pasting results (and formatting them and so on) seems like something that costs time I could very well spend on other things....there are sports for which there are tons of specialized websites with results already, there is just zero reason to create another one instead of simply posting a link to them. I remember all biathlon or FIS sports or cycling results being posted....but it'd be so much easier to just post a link to the results.
  11. Either last night (before midnight) or around 3am. I know I've used my laptop around that time, but not entirely sure I went to Totallympics When I turned it on this morning, the Totallympics tab was opened (as always) on the Unread topics list, looking fine as ever, until I refreshed - meaning that the last time I used it (last night or very early this morning) it was still fine.
  12. Oestberg won the pursuit, because she crossed the line first. Oestberg also won the race in terms of FIS points (where only today's times count) because she made up some time to Johaug and beat her. Johaug had the 2nd fastest time, Nepryaeva (who finished 4th) had the 3rd fastest time.
  13. Since right now, all of a sudden when I go to 'Unread topics' it shows everything in the expanded view, even when 'collapsed' is selected. It's incredibly annoying, since it takes way more space and it shows the text of the most recent post...meaning I can't even open Totallympics anymore if I don't want to see spoilers. This started all of a sudden now, I changed nothing.
  14. People generally say one of two things: - Gelukkig nieuwjaar (happy new year) - Beste wensen (best wishes) The second one is a bit more formal.
  15. Never too late to learn something new before closing the year, feliz ano novo
  16. Exactly, they both really don't.
  17. My money is on Iranian calendar
  18. But it's a classic race, so Oestberg will be happy if she's still with Johaug after 1km
  19. Who cares about looks once you have cake or some other tasty thing
  20. I'm not a fan of Johaug winning, but if she does, at least let it be in this way: having to give absolutely everything she's got to win by less than a second
  21. Again Schlierenzauer vs Kraft
  22. Same feeling here The format isn't completely official yet, I really hope matches against challengers won't count, that'd be so unfair..
  23. Putting her in the Premier League would be a shock to absolutely nobody Well, she ain't getting one of the nine main spots, but is very, very likely to be announced as one of the 'challengers' who only play in one evening. Like this year's contenders, which were used because Anderson withdrew with an injury at a late time. Barry Hearn himself has already said she is very much in the running for one of those spots, which will be announced a few days after the world championships.
