Possible, although I've seen plenty of REL's and DQ's for things that were not necessarily an idiotic move (such as Mark Cavendish in Rio, where he utterly destroyed a South Korean rider) as much as a not very smart mistake (as so often happens in the keirin). There is quite the difference between them.

Points races are such a huge mess. Inexplicable UCI still doesn't have that in order in terms of easy graphics (and decent TV directing).

There have been videos? I'd love to see them! Much like the early keirin rounds in World Cups that are never shown, often there's some DNF's and so on there, but there's no video so nobody really knows whether it was a mistake, a dumb move or an outright idiotic move.

If that were true, he'd have gone well under 4 minutes for 4 kilometers It's the last kilometer's average if I'm not mistaken.

4:03.64 and the second fastest time ever for Lambie, who was 1.7 seconds faster than Ganna's WR at the halfway mark, just to make very clear how insane Ganna's race was (he kept on going faster and faster and faster, which is utterly bizarre).

Must have been a wild move She didn't get disqualified though, but relegated (moved to the last finishing position), which is a significant difference I'm assuming someone who is DQ'ed is actually out of the omnium?

Yumi Kajihara starts the omnium with a bit of a surprising scratch win, ahead of favourites Kirsten Wild and Jennifer Valente.

UCI's YouTube streams being geoblocked for an entire World Cup event because Eurosport shows a replay on Sunday night and Dutch TV has a 5-minute review of the entire weekend on Sunday is rather annoying, yes

Nobody is argueing it's not. But even a niche sport should be worth something for it's own federation, which however isn't showing half the competition/
