  1. Domont and Hansen were already laying there, then Van Garderen somehow had some weird crash and took Betancur with him to join those two.
  2. This climb is fantastic Too bad Jesper Hansen, Axel Domont and apparently Van Garderen and Betancur crashed

  5. Muskens/Piek had to withdraw during the match, which means a sad end to Muskens' career as she had already announced to retire after these championships due to ongoing injury trouble
  6. Too obvious Still, any sign of Contador being able to leave with a decent fight is good to see
  7. That's too bad, with this list of D-sprinters he might actually have had a chance for something very nice.
  8. Contador seems to be somewhat healed from his illness
  9. What kind of idiot is directing these camera's and deciding what we get to see? It's exciting as can be on this final climb yet they manage to basically miss all of the good stuff
  10. The fuck did Moscon eat for breakfast? Nice win from Lutsenko
  11. 1950 was the last time, although there were no Russians at those championships, so I guess we have a unique situation here
  12. I meant at world championships, although Olympics in which they competed count as well
  13. Has anyone already figured out how long ago it is since Russia won 0 gold medals in Greco-Roman? I'm at 1986 now (counting USSR) but still they won at least one gold medal all the time
  14. 0 Dutch swimmers, fantastic
  15. Yes, all media says so and here as well, but that's apparently just not true. They seem to be counting team time trials for some riders, yet don't count them for others. If team time trials don't count as a stage win for the rider, there are only 91 riders who have won a stage in all 3 GT's. If team time trials do count as a stage win for the rider, there are well over 100 riders who have won a stage in all 3 GT's.
  16. I'm happier with bans of people who basically without doubt actually cheated than with bans for athletes who made a dumb mistake. Correct that she's banned, although 18 months is an exaggeration.
  17. There are two serious sprinters here and they finish in 6th and godknowswhereth place
  18. Trentin beating Lobato and Van Asbroeck in a mass sprint at the end of a stage like this pretty much says it all in terms of sprinters
  19. Crash with among others Dani Moreno and Domenico Pozzovivo.
  20. 13km to go, let's see if these last kilometers turn out to be as idiotic as they seem to be on the map.
  21. Ok I could have spent 2 minutes longer in searching... https://livestream.com/FISU/events/7635120/videos/161601290 Starts at around 38-39 minutes
  22. Does anyone know if there's some video available of the men's 100m breast stroke final?
  23. Athlete A: somewhat believable excuse, 18 months Athlete B: 'my mother's cancer medicine fell in the dinner causing my positive doping test', 2 months Sports Anyway, dumb mistake from Johaug not to check what was in that lip cream she used.
  24. These last kilometers today are gonna be hilarious. The French are not the only ones who manage to draw out the most idiotic sprint finishes
  25. That shirtless hippie on the Isle of Palms, with his 'we're all one with the universe here man'
