  1. Well, this is an anti-climax of absolutely epic proportions
  2. Norway is going to make it 37-37 between Norway and the Netherlands in terms of men's world allround titles, the rivalry is back
  3. Pedersen is gonna lap Kramer
  4. So happy your dreams are just dreams
  5. Silovs had a bit of trouble Still, nice to see him skate a 10k, and friendly as always, the first thing he did was widely thanking the crowd
  6. Two years ago, I honestly thought Brazil had a very serious future medal contender for the Paralympics, in standing cross-country...now there's this new guy and he actually already finished 6th, just wow
  7. I've never seen a Paralympics with such awful coverage. Not even alpine skiing is shown live on IPC's channels...I wanted to follow this by watching alpine skiing and cross-country/biathlon in the morning (on Youtube), but this is basically impossible.
  8. What a race for Eberhard
  9. BTW, I sort of liked this race. I'd have liked a different winner, but Bjoergen definitely had to claw her way back and give it her all in the attack, instead of just saying 'bye' and that's it like in Pyeongchang.
  10. Although I thought that was exciting in some way too. I mean, I don't care for wins with 1 minute margin, but when it's going to ridiculously big margins (Johaug, or Bjoergen at the Olympics), that's sort of fun too beucase it's just so....Johann Mühlegg-like
  11. Stamina is actually more normal for older athletes than for young athletes
  12. Exactly I knew it was something with Audi but was too lazy to confirm my suspicions it was a Quattro
  13. "Cities are full with no-go zones" is exaggerated 'propaganda', but I have no doubt there are European cities where there are indeed neighbourhoods where, as an 'average European', you just don't want to walk around. Especially not if you're a woman, on your own, because that's against the 'law' certain people think counts there.
  14. Adolf Erdogan deserves a place there too, don't leave him behind
  15. David la Rue was fighting for overall gold (or at least silver), but had 'a Sven Kramer' in the 5k (wrong exchange) and got DQ'ed
  16. If I'm not mistaken there's some sort of bonus for the athlete who gets the most points (not sure if that's in one race or throughout the season though).
  17. Pavlova is back in the snow on IBU level, her last competition was the junior worlds in....2014! Where she won sprint gold, by the way. The season after that she was at summer worlds and no more IBU results since then, until her 3rd in the individual in Uvat this week and now the win in the sprint.
  18. Reichelt missed it by 0,14
  19. Wow, Sejersted with bib 25 going to his first World Cup podium, in front of his home crowd......aaaaaand it's gone thanks to Brice Roger, bib 49 (!), being 0,01 faster
  20. But still, apparently the 3rd best in the all-time free skate ranking and 5th in the all-time overall ranking...not bad, when you're 13
  21. True Snow makes it even better in my opinion, but the chance of rain is a lot bigger
  22. Absolutely. Although to be fair, of all months in the season, this is probably the worst time to host something like this in the Netherlands....you can't expect it to be 0-5 degrees halfway through March.
  23. An educated guess would say this is in Salt Lake City's local time, where it's 8 hours earlier compared to CET. So my guess would be today's program starts in 35 minutes with the women's 1000m.
  24. Maybe the Semerenko sisters somewhere?
