  1. It seems like Subasic is relatively ok..let's hope.
  2. I really hope this was just one cramp...the goalkeeper getting injured at this moment, that'd be such an anticlimax.
  3. Sure, but if they lose this, he's never gonna lose the feeling of "even with all the Russians there, 3 centimeters more to the right and we've have been in the semi finals"
  4. That'd be a cool start to a real comeback if he can finish it
  5. He's the one who hit the post? He must now have a small sense of how Rob Rensenbrink has been feeling for 40 years
  6. Croatia doesn't know that when you don't score out of any of your huge chances, the other team is definitely gonna score?
  7. They didn't ration the 'stuff' well enough so now it was empty
  8. That's a nice video from this Nick, too bad the video started in such a way that exactly the important moment is missing
  9. Yeah, that was basically impossible. Before he could blink his eyes the ball was 10 centimeters away from him
  10. Khimki (and former Sacramento Kings) player Tyler Honeycutt has been killed aged 27. He shot at police in LA and they shot back. He didn't shoot very well, they did --> they didn't get injured, he died https://www.eurohoops.net/en/euroleague/708182/tyler-honeycutts-head-coach-i-cant-talk-im-really-sad/
  11. Herbert/Mahut are out as well, that's the entire men's doubles top-4 gone after two rounds
  12. Well yeah you need an ice rink, which is why I'm mostly hoping for the tiny chance (yet unrealistic, I know, that's why it's tiny ) of for example someone with Iranian roots competing for Iran while based in another country. That's what happens with Brazil for example and because of that, very very very slowly one or two or three people actually in Brazil are getting a little interested. I know, it's all not that realistic, but like I said, it's not wrong to hope
  13. Well neither did Colombians, until a foreign coach went there and started convincing inline skaters to give it a try on that strange icy thing Ok, I know Colombia and Iran are rather different in terms of quality in inline speed skating, since Colombia is the dominant force, but still. It'd just be cool if someone gives it a try or something, be that by somehow stumbling upon a foreigner with ties to the speed skating or whatever, one might hope
  14. Iranian lady in the 1/8 finals of the women's 100m competition (where she lost, but rather closely), that surprised me https://www.schaatsen.nl/media/36517/161-qualified_for_the_1_4_final_senior_ladies___100_m_sprint_tournament_1.pdf @MHSN Is roller speed skating somewhat of a 'thing' in Iran or is she entirely unique? It'd be so awesome if one day one makes a move to the ice Edit: Wow, also an Iranian guy who lost in the 1/8 finals AND an Iranian guy who won and will be in tonight's quarter finals! https://www.schaatsen.nl/media/36518/162-qualified_for_the_1_4_final_senior_men___100_m_sprint_tournament_1.pdf
  15. We found a point of agreement
  16. I don't hate her I just often notice this sort of 'attitude' on the court and in interviews (it could be just me, but I'm not the only one based on several forums) She's ten classes above the rest in the world though in terms of quality, gotta give her that of course, no doubt.
  17. Her eternal "I wish I was not here and I hate what I'm doing" look is awesome indeed
