    Petr Novak seems like a freak show anyway. Apparently in a documentary on (Dutch) TV 10 years ago, about him and Martina Sablikova, he even went so far as to say Sablikova was not allowed to fall in love, 'because bad for performance'. It's very sad to see Erbanova go like this

    Lars Boom had intestinal trouble yesterday and had to stop and jump in some spectator's 'mobile home' to take a - undoubtedly - near-liquid crap, for which he later thanked the owners who let him go in their mobile home. He arrived 3 seconds within the time limit.

    I don't know if this is known yet and I can't really find a source online, but anyway: apparently Australia is boycotting this season's Winter Universiade (early 2019) in Krasnoyarsk, because the NOC's of Australia and Russia are in a fight over the whole doping thing and Australia won't send anybody to Russia.

    Well, Woods isn't fully healthy and I was doubting between Teuns and Benoot since both are often good on these kind of finishes (and there was a lot of confusion about the % of the finish, if I knew it was this steep I might have gone for Valverde ) Oh well, at least I still have Valverde for another day
