  1. la ginnastica ritmica NON è uno sport
  2. direi di no, visto il primo turno ma non si sa mai cmq sono sempre perplesso circa la modestia del movimento canoistico azzurro possibile non si riesca ad essere più competitivi? mah...
  3. what a match! Adigwe will soon give Velasco some headache...
  4. that would be Archery Biathlon, which also exists by itself (in both the summer & winter versions) ☝️ ps Artistic & Dance just CAN'T have the word SPORT beside them 😈 pps I agree about Tug of War
  5. ILCA6 & ILCA7 European Open Championships 2025 ( Marstrand) women's ILCA6 Gold: Anna Munch (European Champion) Silver: Mara Stransky Bronze: Agata Barwinska (European Silver) 4th Place: Emma Plasschaert (European Bronze) Full Results & Rankings https://eurilca.eu/documents/340/results/ilca6w.htm men's ILCA7 Gold: Michael Beckett (European Champion) Silver: George Gautrey Bronze: Duko Bos (European Silver) 4th Place: Ethan McAullay 5th Place: Finlay Dickinson (European Bronze) Full Results & Rankings https://eurilca.eu/documents/340/results/ilca7.htm NON-Olympic action men's ILCA6 Gold: Josip Tafra Full Results & Rankings https://eurilca.eu/documents/340/results/ilca6m.htm
  6. men's CPL and women's BlazeT20 have the same structure, it's the Olympic format but in both cases it's a club competition rather than a true Nations League (even if sometimes the teams are 100% built with native cricketers, but this is not the rule) the so-called West Indies Championsgip is played with the test match format (3-5 days), which has nothing to do with the T20 Olympic format
  7. watched a few games...it was so refreshing in such a hot & humid climate as we have here in Milan
  8. in any case, if the question is only about the tournament itself, yes, it's fine, as only the name is different because of the main sponsor
  9. it's the same principle, it's more a club tournament than a National Championship maybe our British users know more details, but I'm still pretty sure that the National teams for every Caribbean Nation would be a bit different from the CPL's rosters
  10. yes, sir
  11. Coastal Rowing: correct, the Olympic disciplines are those from Beach Sprint CR Golf: correct, there's no proper event similar to the one that will be contested in LA Skateboarding: yes, correct Weightlifting: there should be an official announcement at the times of 2025 World Champs later this year Boxing: it's already been explained TT: I have no idea for what concerns Baseball & Cricket, what's been already written is correct, but there's still to consider the eligibility criteria of the involved athletes, which might be very different from IOC's (especially between World Baseball Classic and the other International events run by WBSC) as far as I Know, the Cricket Caribbean Premier League (whatever commercial name they use), is more a club championship than a National one and the players don't necessarily always play for their native Island not sure it should be considered their official selection tournament
  12. Italy just destroyed Brazil 3-0 to book their place in the gold medal match
  13. inline skating has normally 2 and a half "disciplines": "track" racing is done on a 200m oval track like the indoor athletics' but with a hard surface (and more often than not still outdoor), "road" racing is divided into the classic events (same criteria of the track racing, but on longer distances) contested on a road surface-alike track (with all kinds of shape possible and the lap distance being between 300m and 500m) and the true road events (the 100m race -normally being a time trial qualification race and then a knockout phase for the best 16/32- and the marathon race -no need to explain that...it is just what everybody imagine) about participation, it's clear that the athletes care much about the world skate games and the world championships a lot more than the world games, especially because some big names who try and share the duties between inline and speedskating right now are already working for the season on the ice and the Olympic dream -2 names above all: Bart Swings and Metodej Jilek
  14. https://www.fivb.com/fivb-statement-on-ineligible-player-at-the-fivb-volleyball-womens-u21-world-championship-2025/ 😱🤣🤣🤣🤦 Vietnam just tried the trick and played (at least) a boy in their team but they were caught
  15. lì non c'è nulla di politico, è un covo di fascio-razzisti decerebrati, ignoranti come blatte
  16. twitter ormai è una fogna della peggior specie... tutti i decerebrati sembra si siano dati appuntamento lì
  17. I'd accept such kind of change only if they enlarge the field up to 12 teams per weapon (and they must change the farcical reserve rule and make it the same of WC and WChs)
  19. it's not my fault if the favourites flop badly actually, Santacreu won because she walked an unprecedented time, better than Di Fabio's record (and she also improved herself) so, no regret here Di Sabato and Coppola, well, that's another story if they went close to their best times, they would have lapped the Spanish guys, but apparently they weren't even close to their best shape today just 2 more disappointing performances, like Castellani and Valensin in the girls' 200m (and in the relay) or even Inzoli in the boys' LJ, who should have won the gold medal even if carrying an injury, as his first and second jump were both way beyond 8m, but just millimeters foul (especially the 1st one) it happens, actually, Italians are well known for going below expectations when it really matters however, nobody would notice it, as all the social media keyboard lionhearts are fighting the people givong more attention to Doualla's gold rather than Saraceni's, making it the usual racist political fight 😤🤬🤮
  20. don't worry, Kyokushinkai Karate has some of the most devastating KO's you can dream of... it's a full contact combat sport, the only "minus" is the fact that it's not so popular around the world and there are very few Nations where you get a chance to practice at high level https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K63sCC7eLEc
  21. I'd easily replace trampoline, tumbling, rhythmic gymnastics, artistic swimming, dressage an so on with Kyokushinkai Karate
  22. I think they changed the rule...now if you run in the infield, you're out, even if you do it in the straight and don't have any actual gain and in the junior competitions rules are applied even more strictly than in the senior's
  23. and I'm pretty sure they will put her on the first leg at the world champs, too (if they send her to Tokyo), when it's obvious that she should run the anchor leg (and Dosso the first, looking at the senior relay in perspective) but from a coach that kept Tortu in the Olympic final, costing us an unbelievable back-to-back, do you expect any different? coming back to this championship, with Castellani and Valensin so out of shape (or, actually, not having improved as expected since last year), the expectations on the women's sprint relay are below 0...they're so far away from a decent performance, not to mention any chance of medal
  24. 3.4km, of I remember correctly
