  1. I posted the link earlier...you don't even need a vpn to watch correction, at that link you need a vpn meanwhile using the iVysilani app on android tv, the vpn is not necessary (actually, you have to avoid it to make it work)
  2. because Spain won't play the medal round, while the Czechs will Czechia has really developed a good environment for baseball and softball in the last few years, they got some media attention and playing the last World Baseball Classic brought a true baseball-mania in the Country they have a very good youth system, with a lot of kids playing and some of their best players starting to go to the USA to improve and make the NT stronger and stronger on the other hand, Italy has a great tradition and used to have a lot of people going to stadium and some decent media coverage (also late night or afternoon slots on rai3, even some live coverage on raisport when the channel was opened) in the past, interest that's slowing down moe and more with time it remains only the small but very passionate group of fans that regularly follow the MLB -and some other international leagues and tournaments- and sky Italia with its little coverage of MLB/WBC and the world/european tournaments played in Italy in the recent years -baseball Europeans 4 years ago and softball euro and world champs in the past 2 years technically, and always benefit from the Caribbean colonies () and all the foreign born Italians (central and south america rather than north america), but, like for Hockey, it's more and more difficult to recruit someone to play for us because we are no longer economically competitive that's why those 2 Countries always dominated the game in Europe, but now Germany, Czechia and Spain are developing their national leagues and starting growing the base of guys practicing the sport seriously (and GBR also has a decenty base of girls playing softball in the US colleges, so they also became more competitive recently, especially since they found a great pitcher, which is the most important thing in baseball and even more in softball), which means that it will be more and more difficult to extend this domination and actually this is good for the sport

  8. by the way, destroyed earlier this morning (not a pain in the ass like Yesterday's football match) and Tonight they face the first truly important match of this championship against the Host Nation (7.30 p.m CET, live for free on the Czech public TV) https://www.ceskatelevize.cz/porady/16992181934-me-v-softballu-zen-2025-cesko/225471291311103/ (might need a VPN)
  9. well, baseball (softball) is quite a different sport, every single day is way different from another it's absolutely normal to have a day where you hit every ball you get and the following day not hitting a watermelon moreover, pitchers make all the difference in the world...if you play someone having a mediocre day on the mound (in the circle), there's no way you can escape a bad loss the beauty of this sport is that you can lose 20-0 and then win 1-0 the following day and it's pretty normal (that's why the playoffs -the finals, at least- in every league are played with best-of-7 series, 1 game doesn't mean anything, it's just a coincidence)
  10. don't get tragic as usual... it's just a preliminary game (played at lunch time) that doesn't count for anything, we didn't play our best pitchers and that's the result nothing is compromised p.s. even if the girls are the defending champions, we're all but supposed to win gold: Netherlands, Czechia and Great Britain are all well capable to beat us (Spain too, it looks, but it remains to be seen what they can do against better pitchers when it counts)
  11. unfortunately, yes

  17. yeah, I saw semis and finals...and I'm so happy for them, they've been consistent all year long, but always missed out on the medals finally, they could get beyond the quarterfinals and they went through up to the biggest prize (first time ever for our girls in the major circuit, first podium finish since 2014 )
  18. Vuelta, tiro con l'arco (mondiali), MTB (mondiali), MLB & NFL in serata...giusto per stare "corti"
  19. I used to follow College Football quite extensively, but after they closed the OTT service ESPN America down, it became a real problem to watch games here in Italy (unless going to illegal streams) fortunately, this year DAZN started to broadcast a good number of ABC/ESPN games a week, so it will be easier to have access to them we still lack the top games from Fox and CBS, but at least we're sure to be able to watch all the main bowls and the championship playoffs so far, I've been busy with many sport events, but I could watch ECU vs NC State and Colorado home loss to GT from the first week hope to be able to catch up with a couple games from week #2 in the next few days, even if now my priority in terms of Football is the NFL, of course

  21. Portugal wins the 56th edition of the WSE Euro Men in Paredes Portugal wins its 22nd European Senior champion title, returning to the throne after 9 years in the Oliveira de Azemeis edition. A final in which he progressively tamed France closed the first half at 2-0.
