una persona in più nello staff permette di organizzare meglio il lavoro, come minimo io non conosco tecnicamente le caratteristiche di Bouchard e della (ora) sua vice, ma posso presumere che fosse necessario inserire qualcuno con conoscenze specifiche di qualche aspetto particolare del gioco posso solo immaginare che uno dei 2 sia più uno specialista della difesa e l'altra dell'attacco (o viceversa), che uno sia più orientato alla "disciplina" e l'altra sia più "psicologa"...cose così non si tratta certo di stravolgere ciò che si è fatto fino a oggi (anche perché non è stato mandato via nessuno), ma di aggiungere qualcosa per cercare anche solo un piccolo miglioramento

I haven't watched Mangione's fights, but I guess @Gianlu33 doesn't like style and attitude of most of our guys, who are always on the defensive side and lose too many matches in the dying seconds of each round and this is actually a problem, modern taekwondo doesn't allow you to be passive, you always have to push until the end of each round

e alla fine, i mondiali di taekwondo si chiudono per noi con il solo argento di Simone Alessio e un bel po' di rimpianti anche oggi, infatti, sono arrivate 2 sconfitte negli ottavi per i giovani Mangione (uomini, -74kg) e Frassica (donne, -53kg), ma veramente piene di rimpianti, dopo aver lottato alla pari fino all'ultimo contro avversari ben più esperti e sulla carta più forti, con Mangione che al secondo turno ha addirittura battuto il campione d'Europa ed ex campione del mondo, lo spagnolo Barrera speriamo sia l'inizio di una progressione importante 🤞

nel tiro a segno di facile non c'è nulla e storicamente ai mondiali facciamo sempre peggio che alle olimpiadi (dove c'è oggettivamente molta meno concorrenza), un po' come in altri sport comunque, se vogliamo continuare a "giocare" sulla base delle interpretazioni, il titolo europeo nel flag football maschile vale un argento/bronzo su scala mondiale

it has to be said that basically "this" taekwondo is almost a new sport, if compared to 20+ years ago until the early 2000's it was an extremely rigged sport, it started to improve only since Beijing 2008 (more or less) and we call it a "regular" sport only in the last 10/12 years however, yes...it's always nice to see how many Countries can develop good athletes capable of winning global medals (having 10 weight classes helps a lot, if they will be cut to only 6 per gender some things might change -like at the Olympics, where we only have 4 weight classes per gender)

sì, coastal rowing e tiro a segno, ma sarà difficile in entrambi i casi cmq 39 medaglie è un numero indicativo, soggetto a interpretazione, perchè Alessio ha gareggiato in una categoria tecnicamente non olimpica, ma è chiaro che sarebbe altrettanto competitivo anche in una olimpica e pure nel triathlon, qui si è deciso di considerare la classifica finale annuale delle World Championship Series, ma la gara olimpica è "secca" e nelle finali delle WTCS abbiamo agguantato un argento e un bronzo...volendo, potremmo contare pure quelle (anche se la vedo dura, specie al maschile, portare a casa risultati ai Giochi)
