  1. Juan Martin the grace that keeps on saving this shitfest if a tournament. What a different tennis world we could have had if this guy was healthy through the years.
  2. Only Verniaiev was screwed, everything else wasn't unexpected. The US girls maybe a bit overscored, but they are definately the best, no riggage needed there.
  3. A pretty forced penalty for China and they missed it.
  4. Track cycling and rowing, just what GB needed after a lousy first couple of days.
  5. North Korea win gold in the womens 75 kg. There's one athlete that won't have to worry going back home.
  6. Damn, damn, i totally forgot this and now i see it went into overtime and penalties and i missed it. At least i saw the final penalty and what a shock win for Sweden.
  7. He should have stayed with his "plan" to skip the 1500 and save his humiliation.
  8. I'm always baffled why rowing has these races for the final places.
  9. Still lower than the WR in the old 75 kg categorie prior to 1992. It was an awesome lift nonetheless.
  10. Cuba doesn't lose in mens boxing. I think they don't have a loss so far, so it's possible they get medals in all mens weight-classes.
  11. The two surprises in the tournament Canada and Argentina hitting very solid european walls today.

  13. First chinese loss in the mens doubles. Cherish these moments.
  14. Tonight comes the end of the Phelps - Lochte rivalry (if there is any rivalry ) Ryan Lochte the only one to beat Phelps 3 times in an individual event at a big championship (OG, WC, Pan Pacific) and i hope he gives him a run for the last time.
  15. Germans are't winning that much, so far in Rio, but some of them are certanly winning cover of the month, as 5 athletes shot for Playboy - Julia Lier (rowing), Nadja Pries (BMX), Katharina Bauer (pole vault), Isabelle Hárle (swimming open-water) and Patrissa Solja (table tennis ) Not as epic as Miriam Goessner's shoot, but still very interesting. 16. Unbeliavable. On the 5th day we are finally reminded by the gymnastics riggage...
  17. Belyavskiy underscored for me on that high bar. Deserved the bronz.
  18. China losing in diving, what is wrong with the world today. Britain on the other hand , finally started to win something, and in an unsual for them disciplines nonetheless. They became only the 14th nation to win a diving gold at the Olympics.
  19. Hoping for Verniaiev gold, but it will probably be Uchimura again.
  20. Wet courts i suppose, after the rain that was in Rio last night / today. As for the 3 matches, it's not something that happens often, mainly, when there have been rain delays and players had to have 2 single matches and potentially a doubles one in one day, or 1 single and 2 doubles. There was always a possability when he signed up for the 3 tourneys, but it looks like it won't be today.
  21. No medal for Slovakia He had nothing in the tank by the end.
