  1. It was a fast retirement for Purito, the people from Bahrain are very persuasive.
  2. Expected for Maze, it is very hard to return to the heavy training after a year of relaxing. Plus she was more or less in the tour all the time, but on the sideways in a more cozy possition, without all the pressure and hard work that is required for competing at the top. Her decision doesn't surprise me, especially since her future is arranged.
  3. Buffon has been just the legend that he is tonight. Absolutely sick saves in the match.
  4. Another TDF route pandering for Quintana, which i'm sure he will find a way the fuck up anyway. ASO really, really don't want another Froome win. Chavez also a pretty good route for him, time to step up.
  5. I would like to think, that if Kimi departed this year, they would have pulled the trigger and have him in Ferrari for 2017. If he wins GP2 which smaller F1 team can possibly get him for 2017? Sauber? Manor? Or he stays put in GP2 for another year if he doesn't win the championship and Gasly moves up.
  6. Some transfer news for next year in the world of motorsports. In F1, two longtime veterans in Felipe Massa and Jenson Button will leave the series after this season, which opens the door for two powerhouse rookies from the smaller formulas to take their places. Stoffel Vandoorne (2012 F Renault 2.0 champion, 2013 F Renault 3.5 runner-up, 2014/15 GP2 runner-up and champion) will be Fernando Alonso's teammate at McLaren next year, while canadian Lance Stroll, who has been a champion the last 3 years (2014 Italian F4, 2015 Toyota Series, 2016 European F3), will take Massa's spot in Williams and will make a F1 debut at 18 years. He will be also the first canadian in F1 in over a decade since Jacques Villeneuve. In Superbike, legend Marco Melandri will return to racing after one year absence for Ducati. Also two people from Moto GP will jump ship, Eugene Laverty returns to Aprilia, while Stefan Bradl will make his debut with Honda. In WRC 2017 will see the ruturn of Toyota to the championship. The first driver they have announced is finn Juho Hanninen, with countryman Esapekka Lappi on route for the second seat.
  7. Olympic sprinter Tyson Gay’s daughter Trinity dies in Kentucky shooting
  8. Just the biggest superstar in cycling today!! Only the 12th man to be a multiple world champion in the road race.
  9. Jessica Ennis-Hill oficially announced her retirement.
  10. Solden gets the green light, so next week we are ready to open the new season.
  11. And like the jamaican sprinters, american swimmers, brithish cyclists, german biathletes, austrian skiers, italian fencers, brazilian footballers, cuban boxers, chinese table tennis players, korean archers, canadian ice hockey players, australian/new zealand rugby players, japanese gymnasts, dutch speed skaters etc., because no nation can dominate a sport like that, am i right?
  12. Noooo Therese, you beautiful soul I suspect it won't be a big sanction, but i was really looking forward to the Bjoergen - Johaug duel
  13. No, not many i guess. Harry Potter was fairly popular in schools 10 years ago, but with kids growing up it faded away in their memory. I certanly have 2 close friends that were huge HP fans back in the day, all over the books and movies, but now if it is brought in a conversation, they go "pff that kids book"
  14. Pretty standard statistic here for 2015. I'll just write them in english, the other slavic people here will know the correct pronounciation on some of them Boys: 1. George, 2. Alexander, 3. Martin, 4. Dimitar, 5. Ivan, 6. Nicolay, 7. Nicola, 8. Daniel, 9. Victor, 10. Christian Girls: 1. Victoria, 2. Maria, 3. Nicole, 4. Alexandra, 5. Gabriela, 6. Daria, 7. Raja (no english name here, but it is translated into Heaven), 8. Joana, 9. Sofia, 10. Simona The european common name Ema is at number 17 here for 2015.
  15. As if we are not awful enough, today we meet maybe our worst opponent of all time Sweden. 14 matches, 10 loses from the last 11 games with 6 consecutive and no goal scored in those matches. A fun night awaits.
  16. Italy sneaking a win like only Italy can, but their play was atrocious. The new coach has a looooot of work ahead of him.
  17. After 23 years, we return to Paris tonight and this time, things won't be so dreamy. I'm hoping there won't be any trashing and if we get something from the match, i'll be extremely surprised.
  18. Damn, that was the most awful mistake Buffon has probably made in his entire career. Italy hasn't played anything this whole match. It looks like their unbeaten streak will come to an end.
  19. The early 2000s had great F1 teams and all were easy identifiable, which was the most important for a young boy ( ) Jordan was yellow, Jaguar was green, Arrows was orange, Renault was yellow-blue, Minardi with black always in the back. Now all teams look the same.
  20. Mike Tyson entered our Celebrity Big Brother for 2-3 days. He really doesn't give a F what he does anymore.
  21. Colombians voting against the peace deal between the governtment and the rebels, whaaaat! Granted i have no clue about the situation, other than the news headlines, it seems uterly stupid to want this 50 year conflict to continue for me.
  22. The Nations League will not change that much the qualifying process for 2020. Only 4 teams will qualify from the Nations League, while the other 20 will be from the traditional qualifying stage we know.
  23. Tyson Fury caught with cocaine it seems. Probably going to lose all titles. And i was wondering why the match with Klitschko was being delayed so much.
