  1. GB have a few medal chances coming up still, this has been a decent Championships for us so far
  2. I don't think the BBC athletics team is too British-centric tbh. Of course they will be partisan and excited when a Brit does well (that's to be expected) but they do appreciate athletes from anywhere. The main complaint they get is that they neglect the field (but everyone does that)
  3. Heptathlon: O'Dowda 2nd in her heat in 13.72 (.711), earning 1018 points. Mills came 5th in 13.74 (.737) earning 1015.

  5. To be fair, the actual English (or British) commentators on the BBC criticised Ehammer's 1500m before the event. The presenter tried to call it 'modest' and then Denise Lewis said that it's "known in the industry as 'pretty woeful'" and they built it up correctly
  6. Neita bronze, 11.00. Lansiquot, 5th, 11.21. Asher-Smith. Last in 16.03. It's so hard to see this keep happening to her.
  7. Hughes, silver, 9.99. Azu, bronze, 10.13 PB! Prescod, 7th, 10.18!
  8. Silver for Fincham-Dukes with an 8.06 SB in the long jump! Banigo 10th with 7.66.
  9. Men's 5,000m: Butchart 7th in 13:31.47, Atkin 9th in 13:32.35, and Dever 21st in 13:45.89.
  10. No British men in the second preliminary round of the table tennis either
  11. 11.47 and 6th not good enough for Nelson The good news: Lansiquot is through
  12. Neita wins her heat in 10.95 to qualify. Lansiquot will have to wait, 3rd in 11.23.
  13. Both Ho and Bardsley got a bye past the second preliminary round
  14. Men's 100m Semifinals: A British 1-2 in the first semi: Hughes (10.03) qualifying alongside Azu (10.17). Prescod qualified winning his semi in 10.10. Edoburun missed out in 6th in 10.25.
  15. Jarvis and Walker are out after losing 11-8 14-12 11-4.

  17. GB give everything in the Madison final and finish in 4th with 36 points
  18. No such joy for Turnbull, who comes 5th in his heat and will compete in the 7-12 final.
  19. Capewell third in her semifinal and she's in the Keirin Final!
