Croatia and France first below the line 🥲. I believe if there was a normal Asian championship Croatia could have made it. But in the end own fault by losing to France in the crucial match. And I think that CRO and FRA are better teams than CZE and KAZ.

Taipeh has a chance as well, if they win 3-0 I think they will qualify. Not a realistic scenario. but I agree that the world ranking is controversial. Especially considering the fact that the continental championship differ so much.

Not really fair as some teams benefit by not playing e.g Kazakhstan but ok, I guess the only way to do it.

Few questions related to the women’s Asian Championship 2021. it seems the tournament was postponed to May 2022. but what does it mean for the WCH qualification as two teams qualify directly and the tournament should count towards the ranking as top 11 not qualified yet qualify via ranking. Will they now wait until May 2022 to complete the field. Cannot imagine that. beside that will now teams which declined participation now take part in 2022 (China, Japan and Korea) ?

Not so sure, last time it started 25th of May, let’s see.

Na EP U23 veslanje zlato za sestre Jurković u dvojcu bez. Fran Suk u b finalu samca, Papac/Grgić deveti u dvojcu na parice. braca Loncaric su jučer nakon posljednjeg mjesta odustali od repesaza zbog bolesti.

None, with a loss you can’t gain points, the max which you can achieve , with winning one set, is not losing points. i guess France has no chance to qualify for World Championship next year. Same applies for Croatia sadly.

Taekwondo Berba medalja na G1 turniru u Estoniji. Konkurencija nije bila jaka, ali bodovi se računaju, 10 bodova za zlato (5 će se računati za Pariz). zlato su osvojili: Lovre Brečić M63 Leon Glasnovic M68 Piero Maric M74 Lena Stojkovic F46 Bruna Vuletić F62 srebro: Pasko Božić M+87 Matea Kolovrat F+73 Helena Dujmić F53 Nikita Glasnovic F57 bronca: Luka Turkalj M54 Josip Teskera M54 Bruna Duvancic F49 Laura Glasnovic F73

Odbojkasice poražene 3-2 u 1/8 od Francuske. Propuštena ogromna prilika i vjerovatno smo otpali za SP.

Zadnjeg dana U21 EP u taekwondo srebro za Paška Božica u M+87. sutra počinje g1 turnir isto u Talllinu.

Odbojkašice očekivano završile druge u skupini. U 1/8 finala igraju protiv Francuske, koja je danas senzacionalno dobila Belgiju.

Danas 2 medalje u U21 Josip Bilić Pavlinovic srebro u M-87 Ariana Oreč bronca u F-67 kod kadetkinja bronca za Teu Božić

Drugog dana U21 EP u taekwondo srebro za Josipa Teskeru u M-54. u kadetskoj konkurenciji tri medalje. Magdalena Matić zlato i Petra Mršić srebro u F+59, a Ivona Jelić (sestra M. Jelić) bronca u F-59.

Danas je počelo U21 EP u taekwondo Prvi dan bronca za Hrvatsku, Helena Dujmić (Ogulin) treća u kategoriji do 53kg. Imali smo još tri 1/4 finala, ali nije bilo dovoljno.

There are anyway very few sports with pure ranking qualification: Tennis, Badminton and Judo if am not mistaken. Not sure about Triathlon as I don’t follow that sport at all.

Why? I think ranking qualification is much better and fair. if tournament you can be injured or just have bad day and miss the olympics.

I think the reason for the odds is that Russia is not here with the best team 5 players from Tokio are missing incl Gonchareva if I am not mistaken
