  1. It isnt necessary, nothing we write here is necessary. Still its the truth, Czech Republic should be less attractive for athletes, but thats not the case. Who knows? Maybe in a couple of years athletes will prefer representing Burkina Faso or something like that over Germany ...
  2. 1) At least Johaug and Sundby were banned, something we would never see in biathlon. 2) How is Tandrevold supposed to dominate? Its not like she is super fast in cross-country, more like a bit above average. Wierer, Vitozzi, Dahlmeier, Davidova and so on are all on the same level.
  3. Impressive from Dahlmeier despite being completely out of shape, good position for the pursuit. Norway improved a lot on the womens side this season. The only positive thing is that they will never dominate on the womens side, otherwise biathlon would turn into another snoozefest like cross-country. Who knows? Maybe the fact that officials in cross-country skiing take the fight against doping more seriously than the biathlon officials will lead to more and more norwegian talents prefering biathlon over cross-country.
  4. Obviously Kuzmina took her magical potion again. Thank god she will be gone after this season.
  5. Good to know, now even the Czech Republic is more attractive for athletes than Germany, sad times ... Don't remember a german athlete by that name.
  6. Sad to see that Germany is already participating, on the other hand i never would have went with that song, so only having one jury member clearly makes it easier.
  7. If only germany could be this dominant on the mens side ... Didnt know the Czech Republic invested in skeleton. Do they even have a track there?
  8. 1) Weird way to spell I-S-A-B-E-L-L W-E-R-T-H 2) "Biggest gold medal favorite" vs. "Outside chance ..."?
  9. Anyone had a perfect prediction? I got Norway and Italy right, but sadly France completely messed up instead of winning silver ...
  10. 1) Like i said, fair point, its not your fault. 2) I wouldnt call it a lie, but stating that Herrmann dominated Olsbu was certainly wrong. For it to be a lie, i would have had to know that what i said wasnt true and that wasnt the case since i meant Eckhoff and not Olsbu. I never meant Herrmann dominated Olsbu. 3) I for sure didnt mean Olsbu, since it wouldnt even make any sense to compare two athletes who ran different legs (different conditions, different tactics and so on). 4) I never said Eckhoff is top 2 this season, i think i just said that she is one of the best athletes this season and i still think thats true.
  11. Like i said, fair Point But to anyone who watched the Race it should be obvious that i was Talking about Eckhoff and Not Olsbu.
  12. Of Maybe Some people are just too blind to See that the ball was completely out and still think they can Act like a big guy, accusing other people of Not knowing the rules instead of acknowledging that maybe they are Not as smart as they think. No Wonder italy is going down the drain...
  13. Very Poor Result by the last 3 Italian Athletes, obviously they forgot to take their magic Potion.
  14. Fair point, although to anyone who watched the race it should be obvious that i meant Eckhoff and not Olsbu.
  15. Where did i say that she dominated Olsbu?
  16. Yeah, lets just compare two girls who didnt go head to head, makes a lot of sense ... If you really think this comparison makes sense, then you either just started watching biathlon or you just dont have a clue for either reasons. You are probably someone who only looks at the times in a pursuit race and then says something like "X was the fastest today, if only she would have shown that performance in the sprint ...".
  17. What exactly is your point? Lets be honest: At this point you will just disagree with me for the sake of it and if there is nothing to disagree you will just act like i said something completely different and then disagree with that ... I said IF (Hint: There is a reason why this is written in bold and only with big letters ...) she stays without an error, i never said anything about her chances with 2 or more errors + If i recall correctly the other girls (Wierer and Olsbu) werent without an error in the standing shooting either, so maybe the conditions werent that great.
  18. Only negative side today was that german tv barely showed Davidova, whats the point of broadcasting a biathlon event just to completely ignore the biggest star of the competition?
  19. Cant complain as a german fan. With Dahlmeier instead of Hinz this would have been a cakewalk gold for Germany, but since Germany never competes with their best team in the mixed relay (least important of all olympic biathlon events) this isnt really news. France by far the biggest loser today, for them it was over at the first exchange already. Very encouraging result from Herrmann who completely dominated Olsbu and Wierer, two of the best athletes of this season so far. IF Herrmann isnt too tired tomorrow and stays without an error, then i cant see anyone threatening her.
  20. The first two are true, but for me the third Ajax goal was irregular, the ball was clearly outside. Real has more than enough money to rebuild quickly, no reason to worry about them.
  21. The irony of someone from Italy accusing german athletes of doping ... She cant be that ill considering that she initially was supposed to compete. Would also like to know whether the scenario you are describing here actually ever happened?
  22. Bernhard Kröll, the guy who discovered her and Magdalena Neuner, recently said that he cant imagine that she will continue until 2022 ...

  24. Of course i hope that Germnay wins the gold medal, but Norway should be the clear favorite. I wonder why Preuß wont compete instead of Hinz, hopefully she isnt ill again.
  25. Oops ... Thought this was the start list for the junior world championships ... No it makes sense why a guy born in 1984 is allowed to compete.
