  1. I strictly remembered it was a female, so I wasn't looking at the men too much, so that's why I missed Ermits Had a hunch it was the Baltics, but looked at most of the struggling countries
  2. Both Oja and Ermits doubled up that day
  3. I knew it had to be either Japan, Estonia, Romania, Slovenia or us
  4. FOUND IT Regina Oja, Kontiolahti 2017-18 doubled up.
  5. I could have sworn that I heard a Eurosport commentator talking about someone doubling up. It's not just you
  6. No, that is not enough for her to be put in the team for Pokljuka. She can still get an automatic qualification if she goes under 125 in the next sprint that she can use for one world cup trimester. I believe that if she does not go below 125 points needed for the AQ to the WC, then she can only start in Oberhof, if she has an average of below 150 with three of her best races. PS: If she does not finish the sprint tomorrow with under 125, she's missing Pokljuka and Hochfilzen, but if she gets an under 125 in Ridnaun, she could still start in Nove Mesto. Other than that, 150 average from three races during a trimester for Oberhof.
  7. Well, I was never a fan of special treatment and in my line of work, I am pretty much exposed to it a lot. Anyway, I shared my thoughts, you can find me on Biathlon threads if you need me.
  8. 2) This is a very good point 4) That's a bit rude
  9. As much as you know that I respect you and I would love for TISC to visit Croatia, I think that it still wouldn't be fair to shut out Mexico and Serbia only because they've hosted before and if they are ready and willing to host the show. For example, if we're bidding for 2020 (let's say Ireland/Slovakia/Serbia etc), but then Indonesia, Portugal or some other country decides to bid, we'd immediately say goodbye to all of those countries, simply because they did it before? I understand you really want to host and I'm certain that that day will definitely come and perhaps it's even going to be the 2019 that you want. Heck, I never imagined that I would have a chance to take on this show, since I would've never been confident enough to bid for hosting, but magically won the competition
  10. I know some inside stuff on our team, so sorry, I can't Let's just say Ana was the key for us to survive.
  11. Not really a celebration, because that means she cannot qualify to the WC even with a 0+0 and that means Lithuanian women team is f*****.
  12. I would feel a lot safer for Ana Jesipionok with 0+0, just being worried since her time does not appear in ---> shooting 2, hopefully that's just an error and no DQ is coming.
  13. Sweden seems more and more prepared to take over biathlon with every year
  14. Yay. First ever points for youngster Linas Banys
  15. no, I give the honour of last place to Demkov, because the real last place are those that decide to not finish the race after shooting 1
  16. 0+1 pretty nice Would be amazing if he survived for first ever points
  17. Would like to see Banys a bit faster on the snow this season, but as long as he'll continue shooting well today, I'll give him a pass
  18. Gjesbakk was challenging the entire world cup, but apparently team Norway did not really want to give him a chance to challenge for Olympics for some reason...
  19. Oh lookie here, I'm a master predictor
  20. Take inspiration from Belgium. You know what you have to do
  21. Weird that Babikov was not selected and is starting in the IBU cup apparently. S.Fourcade probably ain't happy either.
  22. I'm waiting for the 0/5 standing now.
  23. Jakeliūnas is our newest CC skier turned biathlete. Be prepared for 1/5 shooting.
  24. Well, IBU cups more often than not were prepared for the live range. It's the junior cups that usually never has them How am I supposed to pretend that I am watching biathlon live???
