IIHF World Championships Division IV which was due to be held in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan from the 3rd to the 5th of March has been postponed due to Coronavirus.
According to the National Teams of Ice Hockey social media pages a letter has been sent to the IIHF and dates for Division IV are to be announced.

I am travelling home from watching the group in Nottingham but thought I would post my thoughts, first of all I enjoyed watching all of the matches and felt there was a good atmosphere at the games.
I do feel sorry for the Estonian team after their games but it was always going to be a difficult group for them, the Romanian team impressed me and gave both Great Britain and Hungary tough matches so I will be interested to see how they perform in Division 1A this year.
It would have been nice to see Great Britain reach the final round of qualifying but full credit to Hungary who played well and deservedly won the group, good luck to them for the final round in Latvia.
Hopefully we can have more tournaments like this in Great Britain in the future.

Well it looks like Romania will be heading to Nottingham in February unless Iceland can pull off something quite unbelievable in their final game. Means one "elite division" team, two teams from Division 1A and one team from Division 1B in that group.
One of the highlights for me will be Hungary vs Romania, can imagine that being a hotly contested match.

Does anybody know if there are live streams planned for the Group K matches in Brasov? As much as I like to follow all of the groups, my suspicion is that this group will provide the fourth team for Group J in Nottingham this coming February.
If my suspicions are correct then it would also result in a match between Hungary and Romania which could be a rather interesting match to see.
-
Already booked my accommodation for Group J in Nottingham, I think on paper Romania are most likely to be the fourth team in that group but personally I am hoping for an outsider like Spain to make it through and appear in Nottingham.
My main hope though is that win Group J and that I could then go and watch them play in the final round of qualifying.

Congratulations to Dario Cologna on winning Gold in the Men's 15km Freestyle for the 3rd Winter Olympics running.
Had hoped Andrew Musgrave would do better after his performance in the 30km Skiathlon but it was not to be.
I think my personal highlight though has to be the Project Bogota competitors all finishing and the congratulations from Dario Cologna at the end. That's how it should be in my opinion.
-
Very good performance from Andrew Musgrave to get 7th for Great Britain, hoping he can do well in the 15km Freestyle now
Congratulations to Norway on getting all three medals in the 30km Men's Skiathlon, Krueger doing very well to come back from his early fall
-
Will have to watch the Men's 15km+15km Skiathlon on catch up, hope that Andrew Musgrove and Callum Smith do well
-
Watching Switzerland vs Korea from the Women's Ice Hockey on catch up, most of my viewing will be on catch up this Olympics due to time difference and work.

15 km freestyle.
A lot of interesting exotic stories will be in that race. I plan to write a preview of all that.
Thanks Can't wait for it.

Does anyone know which events in the Cross-Country Skiing are going to include Pita Taufatofua?
I would not want to miss seeing how he does

I'm sorry but I'll be busy all week and will not be able to update the first post with the results... I hope that you will continue to update daily
P.S. Italy-Belgium 15-0 in only 5 innings
I will continue updating once I have seen the results each day, was that ended in 5 innings under the 10 run rule then?

defeated 7-1 after 9 innings, defeated 3-1 after 9 innings and defeated 3-2 after 9 innings.
Greece, Russia and Great Britain remain in the bottom 2 places of their respective groups.

defeated 10-2 after 9 innings

defeated 4-1 after 9 innings, defeated 5-1 after 9 innings and defeated 6-3 after 9 innings.
Bad starts for Great Britain, Russia, Croatia and Greece so far and I can't see things getting better for Great Britain tomorrow as they face Germany

Start of the match seems quite one sided, as already gets a home run
The match has been very one sided so far, not a good start for , especially with nearly managing a 4th after stealing 2 bases

Is the Ziggo Sport website geo-restricted for it's video? I am hoping it's not as I would happily pay the 4 euros to watch Great Britain's game with the Netherlands tomorrow but I don't want to order it if I cannot view it.

Didn't Semenov get a 5 point throw against Nabi? Still fairly new to the sport but have been enjoying what I have seen for the most part. I think the 59kg and 75kg categories had better matches from what I could see on the coverage here in Great Britain though
-
I am undecided at the moment, I do agree it was a lot easier to find results on the old forum though.

Most recently here in Great Britain the Nottingham Panthers won the Elite Ice Hockey League Challenge Cup 1-0 in Overtime against the Cardiff Devils
-
For me it's Ice Hockey, Skeleton and Ski Jumping in equal order
