I thought that it was odd that she even knew about biathlon. We had a biathlete in 1988 from Guam, so stranger things could happen.

J.T. Boe has committed to 4 more years. India hosted their National Biathlon Championship. Tiril Eckhoff will return for next season. Mari Eder might retire. She is 34 and not sure she will continue. She has also spent the past few summers training with the Belarus team.

If there was a time for a mid 20s positioned racer to win, tomorrow might be it.

Major announcement today: Belarus and Russia have been suspended from IBU competitions until at least September 2022. Austria, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, Norway, Sweden and Switzerland have provided and will continue to provide help to Ukrainian biathletes. The IBU will also assist with finances for these training camps.

USBA just confirmed that Leif Nordgren, Clare Egan and Susan Dunklee are all retiring. Amanda Lightfoot from the UK is also retiring.
