I think Kayla is a good example of category 2, she was born in France, her father is Algerian, she has dual nationalities in a fair way. She was representing France which was fine ..then decided to switch (regardless the reason) to her other nationality, personally I think that's fair and supporting her decision in both ways.

good point, I think this sports academy is a way to turn around the normal citizenship rules ..which I don't like either.

Not yet, rumors are the extra weight will be in the heavy section .. but no official weight categories yet.

Hey Guys, What's your opinion about naturalisation in sports? .. do you think it's good/ bad / fair / unfair... for the athletes and for supporters too? for me I can categories them into 3 styles: 1- Athlete who lived in the new country long enough and get the citizenship similar to any other normal person utilising the them process and time frame to be granted the new citizenship - Personally I see this one is fine, and the athlete is free to choose which country to represent (original or new) 2- Athlete who is seeking asylum or has been ejected from his homeland for any reason, then he had been offered a citizenship to play. - it depends, if he is temporarily away from his homeland I am more in favour to retain his original citizenship, but if it's impossible to be back again, then it's fine 3- Athletes who have been paid to represent another country and leave their homeland - I am totally against that and can't withstand a Bahraini called Winferd, Qatari called Savic, Belgian calle Paratishvilli or Turkish called Makhmadov ..etc

this is one of the worst corrupted federation, they went with 3 athletes (meant to be 4 but one withdraw just before the start of the game without explanation) the other 3 were competing with each others who will fall down faster all coaches were saying there are a lot of talents but unfortunately those players are suffering from corruption, lack of training or camps, lack of money ..etc.

I am guessing something like 2 athletes per NOC subject to being in the top 10, remaining quotas would be by ranking and maybe 1 final qualification event, that would be more fair in my opinion.

I still hope to return back the old scoring process ..something like scoring in Athens 2004 Olympics ..at least for one like me who doesn't know the full rules I can link the point counted with the action happened in front of me. But currently the door is open for corruption and match fixing. I can't believe how a professional judge give full credit to Red player while another one give the full bouts to the Blue one!!
