  1. As the article suggests this is a mixed team. The best placed NORCECA team not qualified will qualify for Santiago 2023 as well
  2. Wrestling team: https://olympic.ca/press/canadas-santiago-2023-wrestling-team-announced/
  3. Team CANADA https://athletics.ca/blog/2023/08/03/athletics-canada-reveals-2023-world-athletics-championships-team/
  4. Racquetball team named https://olympic.ca/press/four-veteran-athletes-named-to-team-canadas-santiago-2023-racquetball-team/
  5. Accidental lol. I don't think you know womens soccer
  6. will be sending quite a few shooters to the worlds next month. No real expectations Entry list No Scola or Sych, the two I expected to get quotas for Paris 2024 eventually
  7. Melissa and Brandie just won the World Series stop in Montreal
  8. De Grasse with a 20.01!! in the 200m, Brown 20.10 and Rodney 20.15 all hit the qualifying standard for Paris
  9. Angus with another PB! Freestyle was the weakest leg and that is saying something
  10. Newman over 4.73!! And Paris quota! Paris qualifiers from this event Brendon Rodney - 100m Ethan Katzberg - Hammer Alysha Newman - Pole vault
  11. Newman will jump 4.73 next (the Olympic standard)
  12. Angus' time of 1:06.30 is amazing! Probably the best breaststroke split we have seen? If Masse/Oleksiak can return to form next year and Angus keeps this up, we might have a very strong medley relay
  13. Yes its a PB!! So two Paris qualifiers now from this event. Also Harrison and Abdul-Rashid 0.05 and 0.06 seconds respectively from the Paris standard.
  14. For 2022, the CGF was willing to listen to cities. The IOC/UCI also approved a smaller capacity velodrome for 2020
  15. Doesn't look like it, and it would be too late for Paris
  16. has an active canoe slalom athlete, who has an outside shot in the African qualifiers. has a women's track cyclist who has maybe an outside shot in qualifying I would remove swimming from as of now the Olympic Committee does not recognize the swimming federation and probably wont before Paris I would add Men's 400 in track and field, they have 4 men under 46 seconds, with one having a time of 45.07 from their nationals yesterday. I'd also remove 3000m steeplechase, as their athlete got busted for doping. I would also add artistic gymnastics all-around women. Perhaps worth adding women's soccer to the African countries still alive in qualifiers, as its so unpredictable.
